What about Taiyuan, Shanxi? Diet, weather and environment

Located in the Loess Plateau, there are many sandstorms in spring and autumn, but they have decreased year by year in recent years. From June 65438 to this year 10, we have never seen sandstorm weather. When it comes to pollution, it is inseparable from Taiyuan Iron and Steel Group, several power plants and coal mines. So the pollution here is sometimes serious, usually mild, and there is a lot of floating dust in the air. My family lives in the suburbs, and the windows are open all afternoon, and the tables are covered with dirt. As you can imagine, except for the green area along the Fenhe River, the green area of the urban area is getting bigger and bigger in recent years, and it has recently won the title of garden city. As far as diet is concerned, Shanxi's diet should be considered more popular. Taiyuan has Sichuan cuisine, Hunan cuisine, Guangdong cuisine and Shandong cuisine, as well as Shanxi local cuisine, pasta and mature vinegar, not to mention noodles, enema, bald bowls and so on. If there are peppers, Shanxi people don't eat much, which is also moderate. Anyway, there will be peppers in their dishes. There are also many fast food restaurants in Shanxi, both Chinese and western. As for Shanxi University, there are several canteens. Maybe the cooking tastes different, but I believe that in order to cater to the public's taste, the food will not be spicy. After all, the canteen faces students from all over the country and will not force Cantonese people to eat Sichuan food.
