What if the door lock is frozen?

Cars left outside in winter often freeze, such as car locks and wipers. This brought a lot of trouble to the car owners who had to get up early for work the next morning. So how do we solve these problems? Everybody follow me!

1. What if the door lock is frozen?

1, stay with your car for one more minute.

Many car owners are exhausted after a day's work, so they lock their cars and leave immediately after driving back. One more minute with your car before getting off can effectively solve the problem of car glass freezing. After the flameout, open the door for ventilation, wait until the temperature inside the car is almost the same as that outside, then turn on the power and brush the water on the glass with a wiper. The snow accumulated on the glass can be swept away the next day.

Step 2 do it yourself

Prepare a hard plastic scraper. Of course, the special glass frost shovel is better, convenient and quick, and does not freeze your hands. When there is ice and snow on the glass, use a plastic scraper or glass frost to remove it. It should be noted that when using this method to defrost, in order to prevent the glass from scratching, the tools used should not be scraped back and forth, but should be disassembled in the same direction.

Step 3 use hot air

The disadvantage of this method is that it takes time and oil. After starting the car, blow the glass with warm air until the ice melts. It should be noted that if the car needs to be shut down soon after this method, the water on the windshield must be wiped clean. Otherwise it will freeze again.

Step 4 add "clothes" to your car

It is a good idea to put clothes in the car on snowy days, or put newspapers or plastic sheets on window mats and fix them with tape. At present, there is also a special windshield cover on the market, which is the best choice for car owners who are unwilling to reach out and toss themselves and love cleanliness in cold weather.

In addition, if the car is temporarily closed, you can drive it in the sun when the sun is good until the ice melts. Although this method is time-consuming, it is also a relatively economical and convenient negative teaching material.

Second, the wiper is frozen on the windshield.

Wipe the wiper with a soft rag and wipe it with alcohol for external use. Alcohol can prevent the wiper from freezing on the glass, so it is absolutely effective even in the coldest weather of the year.

Third, the windshield is foggy.

If you want to remove the fog without scratching the window and glass, you can put an eraser in the car. Or roll down the window to let fresh air into the car and let the fog disperse quickly.

Fourth, the rearview mirror is frosted

You can put a plastic bag on the mirror before nightfall and fix it with a rubber band or clip. When you take the bag away the next morning, you will find that there is no frost on the mirror.

In order to prevent the wiper from freezing, it is suggested that you stand up the wiper after rain and snow, so that it will not stick to the glass. When the door lock is frozen, don't unscrew the key forcibly, which will cause the key to be disconnected and cause more trouble.
