What beans produce the most in the United States?

With the bumper harvest of soybeans in the United States and South America, international soybean prices continue to fall. However, the price of soybeans in the United States is already near the planting cost, and the planting area of soybeans in the United States may not change much this year. The planting intention report of the United States at the end of March also confirmed this point. This report predicts that the soybean planting area in the United States will be 82.2 million mu in 20 16, which is 450,000 mu less than the actual area of 82.65 million mu last year and lower than the market expectation of 83.06 million mu. This provides a certain foundation for commodity funds to do more flipping in the US soybean market.

Although it will take some time to finally confirm the planting area of American beans, and the market thinks that the intended planting area of American beans is underestimated, it is difficult to reach the highest level of 48 bushels/acre this year due to La Nina phenomenon. Even though the estimated soybean planting area is gradually increasing, it is expected that the output per unit area will gradually decrease, which will make it difficult for the US soybean production to continue to increase in the new year.

Domestic pig prices continue to rise.

After the Spring Festival, the prices of pork and live pigs in China continued to rise. Among them, the average retail price of pork (lean meat) in supermarkets in 36 large and medium-sized cities in March was 33.9 yuan/kg, up 20.2% year-on-year, which was 35. 1 percentage point lower than the price of live pigs. On April 6th, the national average price of live pigs was 19.9 yuan/kg, up 55.4% year-on-year and 8.7% higher than before the Spring Festival. The price of pork (lean meat) was 34.7 yuan/kg, up 23.2% year-on-year and 4.3% higher than before the Spring Festival.

The recovery of domestic aquaculture is expected to increase.

As the price of pork continues to rise, the profit of pig breeding has obviously rebounded. According to the monitoring data of the Ministry of Agriculture, the number of live pigs nationwide reached 3,700110,000 in March, an increase of 0.9% from the previous month, and the number of fertile sows remained the same as that in February, reaching 37.6 million. This indicates that the decline process of domestic pigs and fertile sows, which lasted for nearly three years, has basically ended, and a new round of pig cycle has arrived. Recently, farmers' enthusiasm for filling the column is high, which will inevitably stimulate domestic soybean meal consumption.

Inventory pressure will gradually resolve.

In the case of feed manufacturers entering the market to purchase, the domestic soybean meal inventory declined slightly. At present, the total inventory of soybean meal in domestic coastal oil plants is 660,000 tons, which is 6,543,800 tons lower than the end of last month, slightly higher than the 620,000 tons in the same period last year. However, at present, the unfulfilled contract of soybean meal is 3 1.8 million tons, an increase of 570,000 tons compared with the end of March. The sharp increase in the number of unexecuted contracts indicates that there will be more short contracts to be settled in the future, and the pressure on soybean meal inventory will often be resolved.

In addition, the possibility of La Nina phenomenon will increase this year, and the soybean producing areas in the United States may experience drought in summer.

With the rising price of soybeans in the United States, the cost of imported soybeans in China has increased to a certain extent, which has enhanced the psychology of domestic oil plants in pricing soybean meal. At present, the market has digested the current situation of international soybean harvest and demand deviation, and the space for further decline has been limited. Once the pig cycle effect accelerates or the weather is abnormal in the soybean producing areas of the United States, the soybean meal market at home and abroad may be significantly stronger.
