Zhu Zhen Town is located in the northwest of Liuhe District, Nanjing, bordering Tianchang City and Lai 'an County in Anhui Province in the west and north respectively, and is one of the "100 Famous Towns" in Jiangsu Province. Covering an area of 209.4 square kilometers, it is the largest town in Nanjing and one of the largest towns in Jiangsu Province. The town has a population of 66,000, governs 26 villages and 3 neighborhood committees, and is one of the Hui inhabited areas in our province. Da Pusheng, one of the four imams in China and one of the former leaders of the Chinese Islamic Association, was born in Zhu Zhen Town. In February 2000, with the approval of the provincial government, Zhu Zhen Town enjoyed the treatment of ethnic townships.
