This is the winter vacation of 20 17, and our family went to Beijing for a self-help tour. I worked out a strategy with the help of my classmates from Imperial Capital. I had a pleasant holiday. As can be seen from the map distribution, except for the Ming Tombs and the Great Wall, the main scenic spots in Beijing are in the suburbs, and the rest are distributed in the urban areas.

The subway network in Beijing is developed, and all the scenic spots in the urban area are connected by subway, which is quite convenient. Only one family needs to stay in a hotel, travel during the day and return at night.

Please refer to Figure 3 for the hotel location. It is suggested to choose outside the Third Ring Road, near the Third Ring Road and near the subway station, so that the hotel is cheap and convenient to travel.

Our family stayed at Hanting Hotel (Beijing Beiyuan Store) in winter vacation, which is the red "1" in the picture below. It's near the Olympic Forest Park, next to Line 5. Walk for 5 minutes to Lishuiqiao South Station, where there is food nearby. I recommend it to you.

Bus: Take bus No.919 at Deshengmen Station and get off at Badaling Forest Park, then you can reach the scenic spot. Ticket price 12 yuan. If you use the municipal transportation card, you will get a discount. If there is no traffic jam, you can get there in an hour.

S2 train line: fare 6 yuan. You need to take a bus at Beijing North Railway Station, and you can reach the scenic spot in 1.5 hours. Although the time is long, the environment is comfortable. You can see the Great Wall scenery such as Juyongguan and Shuiguan on the train.

Badaling is a suburb scenic spot, so it is not convenient to eat around. It is recommended to bring some dry food for emergency. If the traffic is convenient, you can have lunch in Changping City.

I visited some shopping spots and finally stopped at the Great Wall for a while. This is the most likely place in Beijing to visit swindlers. Besides, Badaling Great Wall is the representative of eight wonders of the world, and there are two fake Great Wall attractions nearby. Don't trust black cars when you arrive at scenic spots, they may be dragged over. Do you really want to go to the fake Great Wall?

Go by yourself. Try not to choose public transportation. There may be traffic jams in expressway. It is strongly recommended to take the S2 line, which is a commuter train and goes directly to Badaling Great Wall Scenic Area. Don't worry about congestion at all. Just prepare a few barrels of instant noodles to eat on the train. At that time, we got up at five o'clock in the morning, greeted by car one day in advance, and arrived at Huangtudian Station, which was quite biased, hehe.

At that time, due to the reconstruction of Beijing North Railway Station in the Winter Olympics, the starting station of S2 line was changed from Beijing North Railway Station to Huangtudian Temporary Station. Many online raiders started from Beijing North Railway Station, which may be out of date. Anyway, we changed the Huangtudian station during the winter vacation. I don't know if this is the case now. You have to find out. There is also the train timetable, which can also be found online.

It is best not to climb the Great Wall by cable car or cable car. It takes 45 minutes to climb to the top of the mountain. Family photo, rest in the middle, one hour at most.
