It’s not that Yunnan is ruined, it’s that you went to the wrong place!

Yunnan has always been the poetry and distant place of the Chinese people.

People went to Lijiang and Dali to pursue romantic scenes,

went to Shangri-La to look for paradise,

later it became popular to go to Meiliyu on foot to look for it.

In the middle, I went to Dali and opened an inn.

I have been to Yunnan many times.

Are you still repeating these completely commercialized routes?

Putting aside those strategies and travel notes,

Today, the editor will recommend to you 7 unpopular towns in Yunnan.

Wenshan

It is not just universal.

Wenshan is a land of pastoral and beautiful scenery, because from 0755 to 79000 you may have heard of Puzhehei here. In fact, there are other beautiful scenery here. Starting from Kunming, it takes 2-3 days to do a tour. (Kunming Airport has flights to Wenshan, or you can take a shuttle bus, which takes about 4 hours.)

Puhei: Beautiful pastoral scenery.

Puhei is located in the northwest of Qiubei County, Wenshan Prefecture, and means "pond full of fish and shrimps". The scenic area not only has hundreds of isolated peaks, large lakes, and nearly a hundred caves, but also has original ecological customs of the Yi people. It is known as "China's unique karst landscape pastoral scenery."

Xianrendong is located in Puzhehei Scenic Area, north of Xianrendong Village. It is the most primitive and natural karst cave in Puzhehei. You need to take a boat into the cave and then walk ashore. The stalactites on the ceiling of the cave hang upside down like swords, like a rich collection of ancient weapons, and there are still traces of ancient people's life.

Bamei: A "paradise" in reality

Bamei Village is located in the north of Guangnan County, Wenshan Prefecture, surrounded by green mountains. The amazing thing about this village is that you have to take a boat through a deep, dark water hole to get in and out of the village. It is strikingly similar to the Taoyuan Village recorded by Tao Yuanming in "Where Are We Going, Dad"? It is a real "paradise".

As a natural village where the Zhuang people live together, the isolated terrain keeps the original style intact. Visitors can see the unique customs and activities of the Zhuang people here, such as offering sacrifices, singing, twisting dragon teeth, playing grass ball, planting shrines at night, etc.

Qujing

Southwest Jiangnan Water Town

Qujing, located in eastern Yunnan, has the gentle beauty of Jiangnan Water Town. Visitors can admire the spectacular Kowloon Falls and watch the colorful sand forests change color in the sun.

Jiulong - the largest waterfall group in China

The Jiulong Waterfall Group is located on the Jiulong River 22 kilometers northeast of Luoping County. Because of its unique geological structure and long-term erosion of water, ten waterfalls of different heights, widths and shapes have been formed, which is known as "the largest waterfall group in China".

This attraction is built along the river. Visitors can hike to visit each waterfall, or take a tram in the scenic area to a high viewing platform to overlook the ten waterfalls.

Lin——Look at this imaginative sand sculpture.

The colorful sand forest is located 18 kilometers southeast of Luliang County, Qujing City. Together with the Lunan Stone Forest and the Yuanmou Earth Forest, it is also known as the "Three Forests of Yunnan". The sand here is so solid that it consolidates into mountains, pillars and peaks, and takes on different colors depending on the time of day, from gold and white to crimson, gray and black.

In addition to natural wonders, there are also three sand sculpture areas in the scenic area, displaying a batch of sand sculpture works left over from the international sand sculpture competition. The content includes "Snow White", "The Old Man and the Sea", "The Tale of Genji", and "How Steel Was Tempered", making you feel like you are in a colorful encyclopedia.

Chuxiong

Touch a piece of human history

Chuxiong, located in the west of Kunming, records a piece of human history. Here is the earliest Yuanmou man in Asia. The colorful Yuanmou soil forest covers dinosaur fossils from the early, middle and late Jurassic period.

Yuanmou Earth Forest: A Colorful Address Wonder

In Yuanmou County, Chuxiong Prefecture, in addition to the famous Yuanmou people, there is also a unique earth forest landscape. It is adjacent to the Jinsha River. After thousands of years of water erosion, the gravel and clay in the land gradually formed a forest of colorful and peculiar soil pillars, which line up in front of tourists, which is spectacular and magical.

Yuanmou Earth Forest has always been a paradise for photography lovers, such as the unpredictable postures of the earth pillars in the forest. The agate, agate and other substances mixed in the soil pillars reflect a strange brilliance in the sunlight, and the photos taken are very spectacular. Generally speaking, the scenery of the earth forest is the most beautiful at sunrise and sunset, but it is also the time when there are the most tourists.

Lufeng Dinosaur Valley - Traveling to the Jurassic Era

Lufeng County, Chuxiong Prefecture is one of the richest and most complete places in the world where dinosaur fossils have been unearthed. More than 120 dinosaur fossils unearthed here cover the early, middle and late Jurassic periods, and are known as the "Hometown of Dinosaurs in China". Here, visitors can travel through the Jurassic Period, walk to the feet of dinosaur skeletons, and look up at these behemoths from hundreds of millions of years ago.

The scenic spot also includes an amusement area featuring the Jurassic Carnival. A large number of artificially constructed waterfalls, rivers, and lakes in the valley create scenes of dinosaur life hundreds of millions of years ago. There are various dinosaur-shaped amusement equipment among them, and visitors can try them as many times as they like.

Tengchong

Is this "sea" hot?

Tengchong is located in the southwest of Yunnan Province and is rich in geothermal resources. The most eye-catching geothermal landscape is the Tengchong Rehai Hot Spring Scenic Area, also known as Rehai, 20 kilometers away from Tengchong County. Heshun Ancient Town is also a must-visit place for tourists.

Soak in the hot springs and try the hot spring eggs.
