Rodin's story

Rodin was born in a poor Christian family. His father Jean batiste Rodin is a police courier, and his mother Mary Schaefer is a poor civilian woman. The birth of Rodin made his father ecstatic. The farmer who came to Paris from Normandy to make a living never dreamed that he would have a son when he was 38. Rodin and her two sisters, Clotilde and Mary, have red hair. Rodin means "red" in Normandy.

Jean batiste invited his wife's sister Therese venture to fill out Rodin's birth registration form in the area, because neither he nor his 34-year-old wife can write. He said, "Just call him Fran? ois August." So menstruation wrote: "Fran? ois auguste rodin, born at No.3 Arbalete Street, 1840, 165438+ October."
