Huangyao Ancient Town was listed as a provincial scenic spot in 1995. It is an ancient town with a history of more than 900 years. Wenming Pavilion

Zhoujia Reservoir

However, there are not many restaurants in Huang Yao, and all the dishes are stir-fry.

Huang Yao’s family has endless sweet potatoes, so they dry them in the sun. Every day, there are children simmering sweet potatoes on the streets, roadsides, and at the entrance of the village. In Huangyao, you will definitely eat less sweet potatoes. What is sold in Huangyao market is vegetable garden chicken, which already tastes very good. If you buy it from a farm, it will taste even better. People in Huangyao raise chickens and feed them rice, so they are particularly delicious.

Huangyao people are also very hospitable. From sweet potatoes, porridge, rice noodles, glutinous rice cakes to dinner, from breakfast, lunch to dinner, if you want to try farm rice, it is best to bring them a small gift. (Or buy some fruit). The folk customs here are very simple, and there are relatively few tourists. Now you can experience the local life in person. If you wait until it becomes commercialized, it may not be so comfortable.
