Commonly used fixed focus Quan Huafu SLR, choose 35mm, 50mm or 85mm?

From a purely shooting point of view, any lens can shoot any subject, but after so many years of development, photography has formed many established "rules", and the best focus is what subject to shoot.

The focal length of 35mm is recognized as the humanistic focal length. The so-called "humanistic theme" is to reflect human society and various cultures (as my photography teacher said). Such themes are generally peaceful, solemn and even serious. The focal length of 35mm is basically undistorted, the imaging is not wide-angle and there is no compression of telephoto, which is very moderate. This is precisely the truth of human nature and the embodiment of the "golden mean"

The focal length of 50mm is recognized as a lens consistent with the focal length of the human eye. Although I am noncommittal about this statement, I have to admit that manufacturers have a special liking for this 50mm focal length. The titles of "standard lens" (title) and "human optical essence" both give a focal length of 500 mm. In my opinion, if there is no large aperture medium-focus lens to sweep the street and there is not much money, 50 lenses are very practical (the only fixed-focus lens in my hand is 50 fixed-focus).

85mm focal length, recognized as portrait focal length, accurately speaking, it should be said that it is the golden focal length of bust, which is the best choice for shooting sugar water tablets. 85mm can combine the compression of telephoto (which helps to reflect the contour of the model's face) with the blurring of the large aperture background. Many professional (amateur) portrait photographers will have a fixed focus of 85 degrees (even if they don't, there will be a similar lens of 70-200, which is the same as 85mm).
