Behind the scenes production

After the film Embroidered Spring Knife was released on 20 14, screenwriter Yang Lu began to write the script of Embroidered Spring Knife II: Shura Battlefield. Before the film started shooting, nearly a year was set aside for preparation. Photography, art, and modeling guidance all stopped their work and prepared with the creative team. After Yang Lu finished writing the script, he showed it to the producer Ning Hao. If he is not satisfied, he will ask for rewriting. He wrote four versions back and forth.

The protagonist in Embroidered Spring Knife II: Shura Battlefield used twice as many weapons as the last one, and even the weapons used in group performances were designed separately. Many details of the costumes and weapons in the film are handmade. The team not only researched a large number of historical documents to restore the "arsenal" in the late Ming Dynasty, but also many cool weapons appeared on the big screen for the first time.
