Hongze Lake Wetland is the largest freshwater wetland nature reserve in Jiangsu Province and the most complete national nature reserve in East China. There are as many as 194 species of birds, including bustard, oriental stork, black stork, red-crowned crane and other national first-class protected birds, and 26 national second-class protected birds.

June is the best time to enjoy the lotus. There are many varieties of lotus flowers, which compete with each other. Walking into the park for a few minutes, you can see the endless wild lotus blooming among the green lotus leaves, or graceful, or charming and shy, which makes people feel pity and can't bear to touch, for fear of disturbing the lotus fairy to escape from the world.

Walking on the wooden plank road between lotus fields, you can see all the blooming lotus flowers, and the fragrance of flowers is refreshing, which makes people feel like they are in a fairyland.

Due to the dry weather this year, the water surface is very shallow. Mud can be seen everywhere, and I really look forward to a good rainstorm to alleviate the drought.

I took a boat to ten thousand mu of reeds, and the boat walked through the reeds like a maze. I don't know where I am. This reed field used to be the place where the New Fourth Army fought, which suppressed the lake bandits and brought peace to the local area.

You can reach out and touch the green reeds. The cool breeze swept through the fingertips, the waves were flying, fish jumped out of the water from time to time, boats screamed one after another, and laughter floated in the reeds.

There is also an island in the lake. There is a memorial hall for the New Fourth Army on the island, where you can see the guns and other cultural relics used by martyrs. Remember the great achievements of revolutionary martyrs.

The scenic spot is very big. I rented an electric car and saw the Metasequoia forest on the water. This is not the most beautiful season. In late autumn, Metasequoia glyptostroboides forest is red and reflected on the water. How beautiful!

You can also rent a boat and row in Metasequoia, such as people roaming in the illustrated world.

And the beautiful Swan Lake. Many white swans are playing leisurely in the lake. If tourists feed them, they will also grab food, which is particularly funny.

Peacock Garden is also very attractive, especially for children. If you are lucky enough to see "triumphant", you can feast your eyes.

The four seasons in the scenic spot are different. Peach in spring, lotus in summer, fruit in autumn and plum in winter. There is always something you like.
