Li Pingbin: Hao Ge went to Taiwan Province alone to seek revenge after the accident in Taiwan Province Province; In LAM Raymond Pavilion, the scene of two guns exchanging fire with the enemy was shot with a slow mirror, which became one of John Woo's most classic films. Mark was shot and disabled. After returning to Hong Kong, Hao was replaced by Mark, who was too poor to make a living by washing cars. However, Mark endured humiliation and hoped that Hao would make a comeback after returning to Hong Kong.
Evaluation:
Chow Yun Fat's operas are extensive, and he is especially good at portraying the characters with low educational level, lack of family warmth, struggling under difficult conditions and attaching importance to loyalty. His performance is real and vivid, with both form and spirit. Chow Yun Fat can show his unique screen charm, and he can perfectly convey the strong sense of struggle of the same character.
In the film The Story of Hu Yue, Chow Yun Fat vividly depicts a lost and wandering revenge career of a Vietnamese soldier who fled to Hongkong and his complicated inner world.
