What do you think of photography?

I didn't really come into contact with photography until 20 13. Although I had my first film camera more than 20 years ago, I was just playing at that time and never thought about what photography was. In the past five years, as a photography enthusiast, I can almost be said to be obsessed, taking more than 400,000 photos. Looking back on my feelings in the past five years, I will also talk about my understanding of photography.

The most intuitive product brought by photography is photos. There are many articles about evaluating photos on the Internet. Let's talk about photos first.

1. Look at the purpose first.

For photos, I think the first thing to look at is the purpose of the photos. For example, many people complain that the photos on their ID cards are ugly. In fact, the photo of the ID card must be a real record. It would be beautiful if the photo of the ID card was taken like an album and dreamy. Who can tell if it is you when you identify yourself at the airport station? It is illegal for the police to shoot, as long as it is clear. If you are a commercial photographer, you certainly need good ideas, high-resolution photos and advanced post-retouching.

2. Secondly, photos look at ideas.

The idea I understand is the connotation or artistic conception of photos. For example, if I want to take a picture of Qian Shan Wonderland, I must add soft light in the morning and evening, in the clouds or at sunrise and sunset to make the picture picturesque. If it's taken at noon on a sunny day, it's just a record photo, and you can only tell others that Qianshan is like this. Some people shoot a slipper or a pile of rubbish under some special lighting conditions in pursuit of light and shadow effects. Then I said that no matter how beautiful you shoot, what you can finally express is a pile of rubbish, which has no artistic conception.

3. Photos are the truest reflection of the photographer's heart.

Now I have a deep understanding of this sentence. Take myself as an example. From the first year when I picked up the SLR and started to press the shutter, all my photos were the truest reflection of my heart, because I could only see what I thought and try my best to shoot what I wanted. Especially landscape photography, is simply my own monologue.

4. About photographic equipment.

Too many people are crazy about high-end photographic equipment. I never object to buying good equipment. Why not buy good equipment if you have money? Expensive is expensive, but I want to say that you must choose equipment according to your own conditions. Let me give you a simple example. Is there a difference between a 50,000 car and a150,000 car? /kloc-is there a difference between a 0/50000 car and a 500000 car? Is there a difference between a 500,000 car and a 5 million car? Of course, there is a difference, but if you are just a means of transportation to and from work, does it make sense for you to buy a 5 million car and just run back and forth in the city? Although I haven't been in contact with SLR for a long time, as an ordinary photographer, high-end equipment is of little significance, especially the weight of high-end equipment is not small. Can your body stand it? Can your cervical vertebra hold up? If you are just a hobby, your photos are just circulated on the Internet, and ordinary equipment is enough. What I want to say is, don't be too obsessed with the equipment, make good use of the equipment you have, think about the creativity of the photos, and work hard on the shooting timing and post-retouching. This is the last sentence.
