Red Star over China (II): The Mirror of the Sky-Chaka Salt Lake

Chaka Salt Lake is called "the mirror of the sky" in China by travelers, and it is also called "the four scenic spots in Qinghai" together with Ta 'er Temple, Qinghai Lake and Tianchi Lake in Mengda, and it is rated as one of the "55 places that people must visit in their lifetime" by National Tourism Geography magazine.

I know Chaka Salt Lake is a good place to take pictures. Let's start with a circle of friends. Second, Qian Jin and I talked about it. My daughter has been fond of photography for some time. She said that in Chaka Salt Lake, you can shoot reflections.

Last night, we stopped at Chaka Town. The tour guide told us to leave early the next day, and specially told us to wear colorful clothes.

"Mo Daojun left early and there were many early pedestrians." Arriving at the scenic spot the next day, a large number of tourists with higher enthusiasm arrived at the door.

You can take a small train into the scenic spot, one way to 50 yuan/person. This train is narrow gauge, only 60 cm wide, which was built for salt mining in the last century. Now it is abandoned and developed into a tourist train, which is quite attractive.

There are so many people waiting in line for the train. The temperature is lower in the morning. Looking around, I am wearing short-sleeved shorts, which is quite out of place among the tourists who are wrapped up. The guide told us to sit at the finish line before getting off the bus. It turns out that this is a very wise reminder. Because the deeper you go, the fewer people there are and the wider the scenery.

The small train thumped all the way, winding slowly. Tourists walk into the scenic spot along the way, and hats and sunglasses are standard. Most women wear bright long skirts, long shawls and colorful scarves, fluttering in the wind, showing their graceful posture. Some are fully armed, and the sun protection measures are extremely in place, and there is not a trace of meat exposed in the whole body. If you go to the Middle East, there won't be terrorists there, will there?

Entering the scenic spot, the salt ponds on the left are of different sizes and the water is extremely shallow, but the background is extremely close hills and uneven telephone poles, resulting in a shallow depth of field and few photographers. The lake on the right is connected into a large area, showing the distance and openness. Every once in a while, a plank road extends into the lake, and tourists take pictures from here. Around the plank road, so many tourists went into the water and finally understood the banter of the tour guide-"Chakalun Lake".

We didn't get off until the finish line. Without thinking, I put on my slippers and went down to the lake. We went directly to a small salt island in the middle of the lake because there were few people there.

The water depth of salt lake is about 20 cm. Actually, it's not easy to wade through the water. Rough salt particles get into slippers and hurt feet. It hurts when you take off your shoes, just like being tortured. There are ways. Every time I lift my feet, I wash the salt particles in the water and then waste them. Is trouble.

There are caves in the lake that should be avoided.

Walking into the lake, the scenery is beautiful. Blue sky, white lake and lake are connected with the sky and are the same color. The sun poured down from the sky without hindrance, but because of the gentleness of the wind, I didn't feel the slightest heat.

The sky is empty, and large clouds are floating overhead, which seems within reach. The distant peaks are misty and flowing lightly, vaguely like a dream. In the meantime, it seems like a dream, and time seems to be stagnant. In the silence, the noise gradually recedes, making people forget the troubles of the world for the time being.

I haven't finished yet, and I have come to the shore. Putting on our shoes, we decided to go back and enjoy the scenery along the way. The roadbed is also rough salt particles, walking on the vast snow.

It needs good weather to go to Chaka Salt Lake. It's rainy, and the scenery is greatly reduced. When it rains, you can't go down to the lake without seeing the caves in the lake.
