What does Sony super35mm mean?

Super35 is the sensor specification of the camera. Many friends always mistakenly think that the frame size of Super35 is close to M4/3. In fact, the real Super35 is closer to the familiar APS-C CMOS.

In the digital age, the size of Super35 sensor is 24.60mm x12.97mm. Its area is much larger than the familiar M4. Moreover, the original picture ratio of the sensor is 17: 9, and the shot picture does not need to be cropped. In other words, Super35 is actually a much larger sensor than M4/3. When using M4/3 lens, we should consider whether the lens image field can meet the needs.

Super-35 generally means that the photographic film area is as big as M43, but not as big as Quan Huafu, so is APS-c, or the APS-C lens sensor used for photography is only as big as APS _ C, and the two modes are actually digital cropping or digital zoom.
