Whether it is black and white or color, the level and texture of the picture are two very important things. In this issue, photographer Lv Qiang explains the following works. The original picture is a very ordinary photo, with dark color and dim light. But it is this kind of material that allows us to give full play to our subjective thinking and create works!

First, open the photo, enter the ACR panel and make adjustments.

What I want is detail and texture, so I need to make the whole picture have texture. Don't overexpose the highlights and underexpose the shadows. In short, the task in ACR is to retrieve all the details of the picture! (the picture must be in RAW format)

Color temperature: adjust according to your own needs, and use it to unify the picture. Here I try to restore it, because the most normal color temperature can show more details!

Tone: generally do not move without a certain tone, which will directly affect the color cast of the whole picture.

Exposure: try to adjust within the range of non-exposure of highlights. The accuracy of exposure directly affects the color reproduction and the texture of details.

Contrast: try not to increase. The grayer the picture, the richer the details.

Highlight: a very useful tool, which can easily retrieve the details of the exposed highlight area.

Shadow: Like the highlight tool, search for dark details, but pay attention to the appearance of dark noise when searching.

White, Black: Same as the contrast option. Only white and black are separated and adjusted separately. According to these two items, you can control the brightness and gray level of highlights and shadows.

Clarity: color detail transition of the picture, fine contrast adjustment. I filled in the definition options here. Because the picture is gray, the effect is natural, so be careful when using it.

Natural saturation: it is sensitive to saturated color, with wide adjustment range, insensitive to unsaturated color and small adjustment range, and it is a smart saturation adjustment method.

Saturation: the saturation adjustment of the whole picture. Here, I reduce the saturation to make the color of the picture not dazzling and jumping, and the tone is more uniform.
