Tongxiang pinyin

Tongxiang [tóng xiāng] place name. Located in the north of Tongcheng County, Anhui Province. In the Spring and Autumn Period, it was the land of Guo Tong, and in the Han Dynasty, it was called Tongxiang.

Tongxiang is named after the ancient Chinese parasol tree, which means "the hometown of Chinese parasol tree".
