The Kaiping Diaolou is a special type of Chinese vernacular architecture. It is a multi-story tower-style building that integrates defense, residence and Chinese and Western architectural arts. It is characterized by a combination of Chinese and Western folk houses, including ancient Greek, ancient Roman and Islamic styles, the movies "Let the Bullets Fly" and "The Grandmaster" were filmed here. Kaiping Diaolou includes four scenic spots: Liyuan, Zili Village Diaolou Group, Chikan Film and Television City (under renovation), and Jinjiangli Diaolou Group, all of which are worth visiting.

Kaiping Diaolou is mainly composed of three major scenic spots: Liyuan, Zili Village Diaolou Group, and Majianglong Ancient Village. We can either purchase tickets for each scenic spot individually or purchase a package ticket for the panoramic area. The cultural tourism area provides free shuttle buses to and from various scenic spots, and there is also a paid parking lot. The opening hours of the three scenic spots are slightly different. The Liyuan Scenic Area is open from 8:30 to 17:30, the Zili Village Diaolou Group is open from 8:40 to 17:25, and the Majianglong Ancient Village is open from 8:50 to 17 :15.
