If you want to know about the human history of Xinjiang, you can go to the Xinjiang Museum. If you want to experience exotic customs and shoot humanistic themes, you can go to Erdaoqiao International Grand Bazaar; You can also go to the Wild Horse Ancient Ecological Park and enjoy the shooting of the bloody BMW base. There are also endangered species such as Platts Wild Horse. When you arrive in Urumqi, you can't miss the local food. It is recommended to buy some fruits and snacks from Xinjiang (you can choose baking) and take them with you on the road.

Urumqi-Sailimu Lake-Qingshuihe Town

After breakfast, I went to Sailimu Lake, the last tear of the Atlantic Ocean. On the way, friends from all over the world quickly became familiar with each other under the interaction of the tour leader and started their trip to Xinjiang.

Lunch on the way, arrive at Sailimu Lake in the afternoon. "Sailimu Lake" means "wish" in Kazakh. The lake is blue, surrounded by vast grasslands, towering spruces and snowy mountains and white clouds. The grassland is full of wild flowers, pearl-like felt houses, snow-white sheep and galloping horses, where we play and shoot to our heart's content.

The friends specially arranged a tour around the lake in Sailimu Lake Scenic Area (East Gate-South Gate), enjoying the beautiful natural landscape of alpine lakes and White Swan Nature Reserve while walking, and chasing the footprints of swans all the way. We like to shoot the beautiful and quiet Sailimu Lake from different angles and different positions. Interested friends can also go hiking in Songshantou forest in Husai, and climb high and look far! After playing, leave, pass by the first scenic spot "Guozigou" in Yili, enjoy the Guozigou Bridge at sunset along the way, and stay at the nearby Qingshuihe Town Hotel in the evening.

Qingshuihe Town-Huocheng Lavender-Zhao Yi Highway-Zhaosu

After breakfast, pass through Huocheng, Ili, one of the three largest lavender planting bases in the world (the other two are Provence in France and Furano in Hokkaido, Japan) and leave. In the season when lavender blooms (usually from late May to late July, which is slightly different every year due to the weather), friends will go to the lavender planting base and go deep into the lavender flower field. Big blue-purple flowers sway like waves in the wind, and even the wind is full of refreshing flowers.

Crossing Zhao Yi Highway This is a Zhao Yi highway crossing the Tianshan Mountains, with a total length of180km. It starts from Xiate Ranch in Zhaosu County, Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture in the north, and reaches the ancient Saudi road in Pochengzi, Wensu County, Aksu Prefecture in the south, connecting the north and south of Tianshan Mountain with beautiful snow-capped mountains and vast grasslands. Blue sky and white clouds, cattle and sheep all over the mountain, galloping Zhaosu war horse. Rape flowers all over the mountain are in full bloom, and their eyes are full of beauty. The Zhao Yi Highway leading to Zhaosu is even more scenic.

Zhao Yi Highway is also a part of the ancient Silk Road "Gong Yue Road". Along the way, you have to cross Angele Tedaban (3000 meters above sea level) on Wusun Mountain. The road is steep, winding and steep, with deep cliffs on both sides, but the scenery is beautiful all the way, as if walking on white clouds.

The fourth day

Walking in Zhaosu-Xiata Ancient Road-Tekes

(Hiking/horseback riding, round-trip route, mostly flat, can be turned back in advance)

After breakfast, go to Xiata Ancient Road; Along the way, there are beautiful rural areas in Zhaosu and endless wheat fields. June-July is also the season when rape and perilla are in full bloom. In the distance, there are continuous snow peaks in Tianshan Mountain. Passing the Tekes River Wetland, if you are lucky, you will encounter spectacular Tianma groups drinking water and playing by the river. Groups of "Xiji Tianma" are flying on the Zhaosu prairie, which is very shocking.

After that, it reaches the scenic spot of Xiata Ancient Road connecting the north and south of Tianshan Mountain. It is the most famous and steep ancient pass on the ancient Silk Road, and it is also called "Xuanzang Road" by outdoor circles. Of course, we don't cross the whole section, but choose the essence of leisure hiking (the original round trip, the round trip hiking distance is about 16 km, which takes about 5-6 hours, the scenery is shocking and the road is smooth). You need to have a picnic on the grassland at noon (note: there is no supply in the scenic spot, so you need to prepare a delicious Chinese meal in advance). We walked along the grassland path to the special snow mountain in Mouzard, with wild flowers, cattle and sheep streams all the way. The chubby, innocent groundhog appears around us from time to time, as if walking into the garden of the gods!

Set out at the right time in the afternoon and go to the beautiful town of Tex. Tekes, also known as Bagua City, is famous for building a city in the form of gossip in the Book of Changes. Free activities after arranging accommodation. In the evening, you can go to the Tex night market, taste the special food of the western regions and have a big meal (Tex lamb chops are famous and recommended)!

1. You can choose to walk or take a battery car or carriage in the scenic area. If you take a battery car or carriage, you will pay for it yourself.

2. The hiking section of Xiata Ancient Road Scenic Area is a round-trip section, which is based on its own physical strength;

Fifth day

Tekes-Kuoxu Grand Canyon-Kalajun Grassland

After breakfast, set off and pass through Tex Bagua City for simple food supply. Entering the Grand Canyon Scenic Area is the core scenic spot of the five scenic spots in Karajun Tourist Area.

The landscape features of the scenic spot are mainly canyon landform, water landscape and alpine grassland, which are integrated with high gorge, Pinghu, Xuefeng, primitive vegetation, dangerous peaks and cliffs and strange rocks in the stream. Ecology and humanity complement each other, giving people a magnificent feeling. Here, you can take a cruise, explore drifting, taste delicious food, and feel the unique Kazakh folk customs and the reclamation culture of the Corps.

In the afternoon, we will go deep into the Kalajun Prairie, the core area of Tianshan World Natural Heritage. "Karajun" is Kazakh, which means "black boundless grassland". This is the core area of Tianshan World Natural Heritage, which subverts the common aesthetic fatigue of monotonous grassland color and single landscape, defines a new grassland landscape, and presents a "three-dimensional grassland" that is easy to watch (note: chinese national geography recommended comments). The Kalajun Prairie, located halfway up the Tianshan Mountains, is full of flowers, flocks of cattle and sheep, small yurts and snow peaks in the Tianshan Mountains in the distance.

Tonight, we will live in Karajun Prairie, offer a special Kazakh yurt dinner and experience the nomadic Kazakh yurt culture. On a clear night, with stars, we sat quietly near the yurt and looked up at the stars. It is also the favorite place for astrophotography lovers, and those who like starry sky photography should not miss it.

3. Dinner for Kazakh yurts: There is no restaurant on the grassland, and the friends have prepared Kazakh specialties for everyone in advance: pilaf, naan, milk tea, mutton skewers and so on. If you want to taste roast sheep or other delicious food, please pay for it yourself.

Kalajun Grassland-Qiongkushitai (light walk)

Friends who like photography don't recommend sleeping in today. You can't miss the sunrise on the grassland. After breakfast, the friends set off for the Qiongkushi Terrace under the guidance of the guide and the team leader. Today, the walking distance is about 20 kilometers, and it takes about 7-8 hours. Chinese food comes with a meal of dry food (not available on the way).

We started our journey early in the morning, with flowers blooming on the endless grassland and towering snow-capped mountains in the distance, and few tourists on the road. Walking through the third-level platform of Karajun, overlooking the three-dimensional grassland mottled forest, I met nomadic Kazakh herders along the way and greeted them warmly. To continue to approach the edge of Kurdai River Canyon, you need to go through a steep downhill (note: the downhill is about 2-3 kilometers, and there are more rubble, so you need to slow down carefully, and the team should cooperate with each other), go down to the forest area of Kurdai River Canyon, walk through the spruce and fir jungle in Ling Xue (help each other when crossing the stream, pay attention to safety), and have a picnic in the valley on the way (you need to bring your own dry food and water). After crossing the Kurdai River, we entered the more primitive and natural Qiongkuxitai grassland, which is full of poetry and painting. The huts along the grassland will remind people of the scene of Hobbit huts in the devil's world. We stopped all the way, took photos, and then crossed the Pegasus Beam (the best scenic spot along the way). Joan Kushitai suddenly appeared in front of us and marveled at the hidden paradise in the depths of Tianshan Mountain.

Live in Kushitai pastoral area at night, and let's brag together! Look at the stars in the shepherd's yard at night. Don't miss them if you like them!

1. Today's hiking intensity is 4 stars, and there are many uphill and downhill roads. You need to take an outdoor route, so be sure to bring a pair of hiking poles and hiking shoes. Friends will provide horses, camels and luggage. It is not recommended to go into battle lightly.

2. There are many uncertainties in outdoor activities, and the travel plan may change due to bad weather, road conditions and other factors. Joan Kushtai-Tex-Gong Liu County

I spent a day hiking in the grassland yesterday and had a little rest today. After breakfast, you can visit Qiongkushitai, an ancient historical and cultural village in the hinterland of Tianshan Mountain. It is also the starting point of the famous Wusun Ancient Road and probably the most beautiful natural village at the foot of Tianshan Mountain. After that, leave Jonkushitai at the right time and return to Tex County by local vehicle. The most beautiful scenery is on the road. You can walk and play on the way. In the afternoon, you will return to Tex to meet our bus, and then head east to the beautiful Gong Liu County. Along the way, there are continuous snow-capped mountains, fertile Zhaosu plain and tens of thousands of acres of valley countryside. After arriving at the hotel, everyone can take a hot bath to wash away the fatigue and dust along the way. In the evening, I will find a local farmhouse, drink in a big bowl, eat meat and treat my stomach! !

Bayinbuluke in the middle section of Gong Liu-Nalati Grassland-Duku Highway

After breakfast, we will leave and pass through Nalati Grassland in the afternoon (the core and essence of Tianshan World Natural Heritage is in Harqin Grassland. After seeing the Karaqin grassland, there is no need to enter the Nalati grassland again. The grassland scenery in Nalati Valley can be seen by car along the way. After that, it passes through the famous Gongnaisi Valley, where there are primitive snow-capped spruce forests. If the road conditions permit, we will take the middle section of Duku Highway to Bayinbuluke and stop at a safe place to take photos. In the afternoon, I arrived in Bayinbuluke, the second largest grassland in China, and enjoyed the beautiful curves of plateau wetlands, the beautiful Swan Lake, Bayinbuluke grassland and the sunset glow of Kaidu River with nine twists and eighteen bends. On a sunny night, you will see a series of sunsets reflected on the river. Return to the hotel after sunset (the hotel is in the small town at the entrance of the scenic spot, which is very convenient).

Tips:

1. The sunset in Bayinbuluke is extremely shocking, but the mountain is very cold. Let's go back to the hotel first and bring thick coats, hats and so on. There are many mosquitoes on the mountain, so we should pay attention to mosquito prevention.

2. Bayinbuluke sunset is late (around 22: 00 pm), and it's almost 23: 00 when I get back to the hotel. You need to bring some snacks and dry food.

3. Dooku Highway is open to traffic at different times of the year, which is easily affected by the weather. Buses may not be allowed to pass. If the road is closed, you need to bypass Aikendaban.

Bayinbuluke-Zhuo Ma-Urumqi

Today, we will cross the Middle Tianshan Mountains, and there is still a long way to go in Xiu Yuan. We fully feel that "we don't know how big China is until we reach Xinjiang".

After breakfast, I left Bayinbuluke. The Bayinbuluke grassland in the morning is full of infinite charm. The beautiful Kaidu River twists and turns, cattle, sheep and horses are scattered like pearls on the grasslands on both sides, and snow-white yurts and Tianshan snow peaks are reflected on the Kaidu River. Let you truly appreciate the beautiful scenery of Tianshan grassland in the western regions beyond the Great Wall, and we will stop for fun appropriately (provided that parking is safe and convenient). I will cross the road of heroes. Duku Highway is a monument in the history of highway construction in China. In order to build this road, tens of thousands of officers and men fought for 10 years, among which 168 road-building officers and men gave their precious lives. The winding and spectacular Duku Highway runs through Tielimaitidaban at an altitude of 3,700 meters in Tianshan Mountain. The Gendaban Tunnel in Harkjerr is 3390 meters above sea level and was once the highest tunnel in China. Side by side with mountains and rivers, the terrain of the highway is very dangerous. After passing the Tianshan Daban, the scenery changed greatly, and the grassland snow-capped mountains and forests gradually disappeared. The dry, hot and dark Gobi landscape in southern Xinjiang is amazing. Arrive in Urumqi at night.
