Glue will harden when used for a long time, and there will be friction and sound between parts after hardening. The place where the screw is fixed will be loose for a long time, and there will be abnormal noise when it is loose.

3. Increased wind noise? Check the door sealing strip!

The increase of wind noise is probably caused by the door sealing strip. There is a simple reason. One of the main functions of the door sealing strip is to seal the vehicle and prevent excessive wind noise from being introduced into the carriage. The door sealing strip is also made of rubber, which will harden after a long time, and of course it can't block the air leakage after hardening. This is easier to solve. It is clear which side of the door has the loudest wind noise. Just replace all the door seals on that side. It also directly replaces all sealing strips of all doors of the whole vehicle.

However, there is a certain chance that the wind noise will still be so loud after it is changed. It is very likely that the sound insulation glue in the wheel arch, engine compartment firewall or trunk has hardened.
