Racing and photography
Speaking of cars, he is great. You said he was a tool, right? After all, he is a product of the machinery industry. Are you going to say that cars have souls? After all, every car has a different personality.
I checked my eyes and I met the right car.
Some people like to take portraits, others like to take scenery, but in reality, there are such a group of people who love to take pictures of cars and want to show the most beautiful side of vehicles.
This is car photography, just like taking a portrait. Pay attention to the environment, composition and color matching when shooting cars, and have a lot of knowledge.
Automobile photography can be divided into two categories, one is static and the other is dynamic. Static is easy to understand, that is, the car stops on the road and poses.
Set the shape of the vehicle, use a telephoto lens to avoid the deformation of the vehicle in the photo, and make good use of the foreground ... Generally speaking, static photography tests the photographer's composition skills. Need to have a good sense of lens, occasionally need some novel ideas, try different compositions.
However, cars are moving objects after all. If it's just a static posture, it feels like something is missing. So at this time, there is dynamic photography of cars, which is the best way to reflect the state of car movement.
There are many ways to take dynamic photos of cars, and there are two common ones. The first is to track the photographed vehicle with a camera car, and the other is to stand on the side of the road and shoot the speeding car at a fixed point with follow focus. This method is commonly known as "sniper".
In addition, high-speed photography like this is also possible, which can take more dramatic pictures. The picture shows Vestapan preparing to attack Vettel in front of Heineken F/KOOC-0/China Grand Prix 20/KOOC-0/9, and preparing to overtake Vettel from the inside with the strategy of braking late and turning later, but it locked the right front wheel and produced white smoke.
What we can see is that the vehicle in the photo is clear, but the background is blurred, and the blur of the background is relatively linear, which makes people feel that the photo has a sense of movement.
Sniper is a technical job, which requires the camera to have enough continuous shooting speed, the photographer to be able to keep up with the vehicle being photographed, and the photographer's hand to be steady ... In short, it is not so easy to get a perfect sniper photo.
Swing can best reflect the sense of high speed in automobile sports, such as shooting racing cars. The picture shows 20 19 Heineken F 1 China Station, F 1? 1000 Grand Prix, robert kubica Williams.
Is it also F 1? 1000th grand prix, champion Mercedes AMG Petronas, 7-time champion Lewis Hamilton.
So how should we shoot it well?
First of all, you have a professional camera. I use an entry-level Quan Huafu SLR camera (Canon 6D), and the commonly used hang-up lens is Canon EF? 28- 135? F4 .
The camera needs to be set to the TV file, that is, the shutter priority mode, and the shutter speed can be set at around 1/25- 1/30 (it can fluctuate up and down according to the field lighting environment). Don't ask why, ask about actual combat experience. At this shutter speed, the vehicle can be photographed at high speed, and the vehicle will not be too blurred.
Next, select the focus mode. Switch to autofocus, turn on focus lock, single focus, and turn off lens anti-shake. It is very important to lock the focus, otherwise the car is likely to lose focus (PS: as long as the distance between the car and the camera remains the same, the car can be considered to be in focus all the time, and any point on the plane can be considered to be in focus).
Finally, continuous shooting! Continuous shooting! Continuous shooting! Continuous shooting must be opened. If you take a single shot, you have to refocus every shot, which is not only troublesome, but also may not be able to take one.
After talking about camera settings, let's talk about the points that need attention during shooting.
First, first think about what kind of scenery is better. Although the background of the sniper is vague, the beautiful background is still a plus.
The cement ash of the target vehicle comes from Weilai ES6, but because the distance is too far and the focal length is not enough, ES6 appears very small in the picture, and the whole picture looks a little messy and unsightly because of too many elements.
In contrast, this picture doesn't have so many elements, which is simple, clean and durable.
The second is the choice of the target vehicle. If it's for a car, then this one can be ignored. If you shoot a car in the street right away, choose a car with a more eye-catching color.
For example, this beautiful G20 in the picture, blue is very conspicuous in the white car.
Or the red mazda 6 Yi Rui galloped past the gray viaduct.
When the target vehicle and composition picture are determined, it is ready to press the shutter. When the subject vehicle is about to enter the composition area, press the shutter halfway to start focusing. This process continues until the subject vehicle enters the photography area, and then press the shutter to start continuous shooting until the subject vehicle deviates from the composition area.
Don't worry, because the car being photographed is driving too fast, follow focus can't keep up. According to the relationship between linear velocity and angular velocity, even if the car is moving fast, the camera can keep up with it only by rotating a relatively small angle if the distance is far enough. If the distance is not enough, then the camera needs to rotate faster.
There is a trick to focus. As mentioned earlier, choose single-point focusing to focus on a certain point of the vehicle being photographed, such as the enjoyment area of this Honda. I chose his rearview mirror as the focus when shooting, so I just need to let the focus in the camera move with the rearview mirror of the vehicle to ensure a more perfect shot.
Take the morning star I shot earlier as an example. At that time, when I took this photo, the focus was on the tips on the Internet in China. As long as the focus I see in the camera is consistent with this prompt, the success rate of sniper is guaranteed.
When the scheduled shooting area is small, after the target vehicle appears, it is necessary to finish focusing as soon as possible, and then start shooting.
Snipering at night is relatively difficult. Mainly at night, the shutter speed is basically above1s. If you need to use a relatively fast shutter speed of 1/25, you need to increase the aperture or improve the iso. The former requires a certain amount of financial resources (large aperture lenses are generally not cheap) while the latter will sacrifice image quality (increased brightness noise and color noise);
In addition, moving the focus from left to right is better than shaking it up and down.
The above is the whole content of this issue. Like friends can comment and exchange more and learn from each other.
