On how to effectively improve the quality of Chinese homework in primary schools

Therefore, how to improve the deficiency of Chinese homework arrangement and improve the effectiveness of homework design is an important way for us to further improve the quality of education and teaching.
Dewey believes that the most valuable homework has three characteristics: "the designed homework is most suitable for children's development stage;" In order to prepare for the social responsibility of adults, the designed homework is the most promising for the future; At the same time, the designed homework has the greatest influence on forming the habit of keen observation and continuous reasoning.
At present, the focus of our concern is that students are overloaded with schoolwork. As an educational undertaking that cultivates people, it should shoulder the unshirkable responsibility of ensuring the quality of education in reducing students' excessive academic burden. In this context, it is particularly important for us to explore and practice the effectiveness of Chinese homework in primary schools, so as to reduce students' schoolwork burden and improve the quality of education.
Let me talk about some ideas and practices on how to improve the effectiveness of homework design:
First, the type of work.
I divide my homework into three types: exercises before class, exercises in class and exercises after class. Every sport has its own different functions. So when I choose a topic, I will carefully design it according to their different functions and give full play to their respective functions.
(a) homework before class:
According to the characteristics of Chinese subject, reading articles, learning words and understanding the contents of articles before class are the basic preview requirements. Some students used to regard this assignment as dispensable, and the result of not doing homework before class directly affects the efficiency of classroom listening. So I will make clear the requirements of this assignment before class, circle the words in advance, have parents sign and read aloud, think ahead after class and write down the answers for practice. In short, the book should leave traces of preview.
(2) Class assignments:
An important part of classroom teaching is the timely feedback of students' listening effect, so we should closely follow the teaching content and objectives, and the problems should be targeted and effective. According to the actual situation of the students in the class, the homework is arranged at different levels. Combined with the actual situation of classroom teaching, considering the learning differences of good, medium and poor students, in the training of students' classroom homework, the content is hierarchical and the requirements are different. It is stipulated that students with learning difficulties only need to complete the basic problems, and secondary school students can do another improvement problem in addition to the basic problems. Open-ended questions do not seek a unified answer, so that students can express their opinions. The arrangement of homework after class requires strict control of the amount of homework and pertinence-homework can be arranged at different levels according to key points, difficulties and different students. For example:
(1) workload stratification. The stratification of homework means that we can increase or decrease according to the individual situation of students and the different requirements for their development. For students with strong learning ability, good intellectual development and quick knowledge mastery, the amount of homework can be reduced; For students whose learning attitude is not serious enough and their knowledge is not solid enough, the amount of homework should be appropriately increased. (2) Classification of surgical difficulty. Teachers can design homework with different difficulties according to students' level differences, so that students can choose independently, so that students with different development levels can better participate in homework and enjoy the happiness of being the master of homework. For example, after studying our ethnic primary school, I designed such an exercise:

(3) the autonomy of homework selection. Educational practice tells us that students have different learning advantages and different interests. Therefore, teachers should consciously design a variety of homework types, so that students can choose homework according to their hobbies, which can also improve the pertinence of homework and get twice the result with half the effort. For example, the teacher designs several topics around a certain content for a certain purpose, and the students choose to do it. For example, after teaching Little Photographer, I want students who have just entered the intermediate stage from the lower stage to understand new words effectively and consolidate their application. I designed the following homework:
(1) Copy new words and phrases, and read the explanations of words in the dictionary;
(2) new words and phrases;
(3) words and sentences;
(4) write a paragraph in a few words; Students choose topics according to their interests. It can improve students' enthusiasm and realize students' autonomy in learning.
Let the special students focus on the basic homework, such as copying words and phonetic notation, reciting and dictation, supplemented by the classic questions of modern Chinese reading in class as after-school homework, emphasizing effectiveness; The requirements for their composition are also slightly reduced, both in terms of words and content, in order to encourage them to complete as much as possible. For ordinary students' homework, it is usually a combination of in-class and out-of-class reading, which not only consolidates the knowledge in class, but also enriches the out-of-class reading and cultivates their reading ability and familiarity with reading questions and answering methods. The design of different homework levels not only meets the development needs of students at different levels, but also reduces the academic burden of students and stimulates their interest in learning Chinese.
Third, homework correction and evaluation
The effectiveness of homework is not only reflected in the arrangement of homework, but also in the feedback of homework correction. Only by effectively correcting feedback can we realize the value of assignment and lay the foundation and direction for the next assignment.
There are three kinds of homework correction: teacher's approval, student's approval and collective correction.
(1) approved by teachers. This means that the teacher only approves and does not change, and tries to approve it face to face. Teachers must fully recognize the "classroom exercise book". Only in this way, teachers can understand each student's mastery of new knowledge, so as to adjust classroom teaching and carry out targeted explanations and exercises. Supplementary homework also needs the teacher's full approval, so as to know whether students have made progress after taking measures, or whether they can draw inferences about new knowledge.
(two) students in batches or collective correction. These two forms of approved homework are generally after-school homework or routine training. These assignments belong to consolidation, and teachers can let students collectively approve or modify them. In addition, students can also use the form of student approval after correcting the wrong questions. Students who are responsible for correcting homework should be trained by teachers. For example, the teacher gives a face-to-face sign to the little assistant, explaining the requirements of correcting and the exercises of each question, and helping to analyze the causes of mistakes if there are any.
Evaluation homework is an important means to test teaching effect and improve teaching methods. We should give up focusing only on the results of homework instead of seeking the actual results of homework. It is necessary to use various means to fully demonstrate the process of the formation, development and application of knowledge, communicate the internal relations between knowledge, and let students "know why, know why".
