How do novices use M mode to take clear photos in the sun?

For novice photographers, they are unwilling to take photos in the sun, and even think the photos are too bright. Here's how to set the camera to M mode to help you take clear and beautiful photos.

1.ISO sensitivity, aperture and shutter speed

What are the values that affect the brightness of our images? There are three main values, namely ISO sensitivity, aperture and shutter speed. We will only look at whether these three values will make our image darker or brighter. These three values have corresponding settings.

2. Set the ISO of the camera as low as possible.

When we take pictures, we can set ISO first. If there is enough sunlight and light, the ISO sensitivity should be as low as possible. Most cameras can be set as low as 100, or even lower or higher. But it is generally around 100, because it doesn't need much sensitivity. Because the sunshine in the morning is already very strong, and the sensitivity has to be adjusted too much, which will lead to noise in the picture, most photographers prefer to use the ISO setting of 100 because they want good image quality.

3. Portrait photography sets the aperture as large as possible

When shooting portraits, turn up the aperture as much as possible. Because in portrait photography, we try to use a large aperture. If you raise the aperture, a lot of light will come in. If we reduce the aperture, there will be less light. That is to say, if we shoot a portrait that focuses on harmony, but if we want to reduce the light at the aperture, we can also set the aperture to reduce the brightness on the back.

4. Adjust the shutter speed to get proper light.

When we open the maximum aperture, adjust the shutter speed to get the correct light in portrait photography. The picture is still too bright. We will adjust the shutter speed higher to reduce the incident light itself. The shutter speed setting is not fixed, and we may have to gradually adjust it to a suitable value. We may gradually increase the shutter speed to reduce the excess light until we are satisfied.

5. Find the right time and shoot beautiful light.

Find the right time to shoot beautiful light. When it is very beautiful, the sun is closest to the horizon, because it will give us soft light. We can choose around 7-8 in the morning and in the afternoon.

5-6 o'clock, but it also depends on the timing of different seasons. We shot before shooting to find the right shooting time.
