Introduction to the Huidong Wenchang Tower construction project in Huizhou?
The pagoda is a traditional Chinese building with a specific form and style that is common in Asia. There are more than 2,000 towers in China. There are many types of towers. Zhongda Consulting provides architects with a detailed introduction to the "Huizhou Boluo Lingyun Pavilion".
Lingyunge is located in Shihuzui Village, Shashang Township, Henghe District, Boluo County, Huizhou City. City and county level cultural relics protection units.
Lingyun Pavilion was built in 1848 (the twenty-eighth year of Daoguang period in the Qing Dynasty). It is a four-story brick structure with dense eaves, 21.7 meters high, and a hexagonal plane. Each floor has blue brick floating eaves. Outside, the tower eaves are arranged in layers of bricks, and a 1-meter-high guardrail wall is built. The three characters "Lingyun Pavilion" are inlaid on the top of the pagoda door, and there is a couplet on both sides of the door (the writing is now blurred). There were originally three beaded porcelain gourds on the top of the pagoda, but now only one remains. There are wooden floors on each floor of the tower, and there is a spiral wooden ladder to go up to the top of the tower. From the top of the tower to the ground, copper coins are strung into a column with silk ropes to protect against lightning. Because the beams, floor slabs, and stairs were damaged, the silk ropes were old, and the copper coins were scattered, the old appearance of the tower was no longer the same. Lingyun Pagoda is located from west to east, facing the river in the south and Guandi Temple (destroyed) in the north. There is a vigorous old tree next to it and the surrounding scenery is beautiful. It is currently the only relatively complete ancient pagoda in the county.
There are two reasons for the construction of Lingyun Pavilion Tower. One is to suppress floods, ensure safety, and gather wealthy people; the other is to prevent lightning and eliminate disasters. Judging from the topography, the area from Shashang Village to Diaimian Village looks like a boat. It was called "Baiyue" in the old days. It is surrounded by streams all year round, just like a boat parked in the river for a long time.
Huizhou Boluo Lingyun Pavilion was listed as the second batch of key cultural relics units at the county level in 1985.
