Analysis:

In the west, their paintings use the focus perspective of geometry, and the painter's perspective is fixed, showing instantaneous, static and three-dimensional effects. They study colors and use prisms to decompose sunlight into red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue and purple. They also deeply analyze the wavelengths and amplitudes of various spectra. They draw people from autopsies and animals as specimens, which they call "sketches". When painting, I often close one eye and observe, thinking that I can see clearly.

China people show mountains and rivers, gardens use scattered perspective, painters move to view, and viewpoints move back and forth as needed, showing a diachronic, dynamic and four-dimensional effect. People in China pay attention to human factors in color research. According to China's philosophy of "Yin-Yang and Five Elements", cyan, red, yellow, white and black are designated as five positive colors, which are related to orientation, season, gods, lust and taste. Zhang Daqian's landscape paintings have also traveled all over the famous mountains and rivers, "searching for Qifeng drafts" and "learning from foreign teachers, winning the heart from China".
