What if there is no shadow when the projector takes pictures?

If you find no shadows after taking pictures with the projector, you can try the following solutions.

1. Check the projector settings.

First, you need to check the projector settings to see if options such as "Shadow Reduction" or "Mask" are turned on. If so, try to turn off these options, and then try to take pictures to see if there are any shadows.

Adjust ambient light

If there is nothing wrong with the projector setting, it may be that the ambient light is too strong, and the effect of overexposure appears in the photo, making the shadow invisible. Try turning off the lights or adjusting the angle of the photo so that the shadow of the projector appears in the photo.

Use a black background

Because the projector mainly emits light to form a projection, if the background is bright, the shadow may be covered. Therefore, you can try to put a black background board between the projector and the subject, which can effectively improve the visibility of the shadow.

Replace the projector

If none of the above methods can solve the problem, then you may need to replace the projector with a higher quality. Some cheap projectors may have great shortcomings in projection quality. It is suggested that you choose a projector with more stable performance to ensure higher quality shadows.
