The college entrance examination rate in Weihai is around 70%.

There are five high schools in Weihai, namely No.1 Middle School, No.2 Economic Zone, No.3 Qiaotou Middle School, No.4 Yang Ting Middle School and newly-built experimental middle school. Among the five high schools, the experimental high school has a high enrollment rate, while the students in No.1 Middle School, No.2 Middle School, No.3 Middle School and No.4 Middle School are not in the majority, mostly junior college students, which is related to the results of the senior high school entrance examination. They all went to those three high schools with good grades. On the whole, Weihai scored well in the college entrance examination.
