Hiking Anguo Temple in Yujiagou I have always wanted to go hiking from Yujiagou to Anguo Temple, and I finally made it a few days ago. After returning, my heart still couldn't calm down. I wanted to remember something, but I didn't know where to start. Yes, how much of the profound history and wonderful nature contained here are still unknown to us and yet to be discovered? Since ancient times, the aroma of wine is not afraid of deep alleys, but this place is hidden in the mountains and unknown to people. We often travel tirelessly, chasing beautiful scenery all over the world, but we don’t know that there is such an interesting place beside us, right under our feet, that has not yet been unveiled and is unknown to the outside world. From the "Longbei" of Yujiagou, go straight north, pass through the two natural villages of Majiashan and Zhangjialiang, and then go to the junction of Lishi and Liulin, then go east and follow the field road along the ridge. It's easy to walk in the snow. The north side of the mountain belongs to the Lishi District, with relatively gentle terrain and many terraced fields. To the south is the Liangjiashan Forest Farm in Liulin. This journey is relatively long. After rounding a small mountain col, an obviously abrupt mountain peak comes into view. Isn't this the girl that I have always wanted to get close to? In order not to keep other people who didn't want to climb to the top waiting, they couldn't wait to climb over before they had a firm foothold and didn't have time to take a closer look. The slope was not very steep, but it was full of thorns. I pedaled left and right, and after a lot of trouble, I finally climbed up, and finally fulfilled my wish. The main peak of Liangjiashan Mountain is 1,475 meters above sea level. On the north side of the peak, there is a huge stone platform about thirty to forty meters long and three to four meters wide. To the south of the peak is a slender ridgeline, surrounded by gravel, which looks a bit like a dilapidated ancient Great Wall. What was slightly surprising was that the remains of what looked like a sheep were also found here. The skull had been weathered into a thin mask. It must have been picked up by a wolf a long time ago. Although the east side of the main peak is steep, it is relatively easy to climb down because it is made of rocks that are easy to step on. After turning a few more hills, there was no existing road ahead and we could only walk through a thorn forest. Fortunately, we had villagers to guide us, so it went smoothly. Before he could fully walk out, he heard the urging and exclamation of the people in front of him. He followed the sound and jumped out quickly. A different scene suddenly appeared in front of him. It turned out to be a camel that he had only seen from a distance of more than ten miles away. The ridge has arrived. Luotuoling is a natural stone mountain with a realistic camel's hump and head. From a distance, it looks like a camel taking a nap with its head held high. Because it is made of white limestone, it looks even more gleaming and radiant under the setting sun. After stopping here for a while, I learned from the villagers that there is an ancient temple at the bottom of the mountain ahead, and several surrounding villages send people to pray for rain every year. But if you want to go, not only will the road be difficult to walk, but you will have to go back the same way for a while. After a brief discussion, everyone decided to go down and see what happened. It is another thorn forest, and after carefully passing through it, you will get another surprise. This is the most lush forest I have ever seen. The entire mountain seems to be covered with a huge green carpet. It is so close that you can reach out and touch it. Especially in the desolate winter, its green color is even more dazzling. I really don’t know how it grew up in this area where there is relatively little water and there are too many rocks around. The ancient temple Dragon King Hall that the villagers call is located deep in the valley below the forest. The road here is extremely difficult to walk, the slope is steep and the grass is slippery, and you will fall down if you are not careful. Due to the terrain, this place is much more cramped than the Jinzen Temple I visited last time. There are five or six stone kilns in the temple, which are lined up along the mountain shape. There are still several ancient steles inside. After a cursory look, it seems that the Dragon King Hall was probably built in the early Yuan Dynasty. Of course, there are many imprints of the Yu clan on it. , I can’t imagine how many stories we don’t know it will contain. Looking at the green forests around me, I wonder if the temples are built next to the trees, or if the trees are planted around the temples. As it was still far away from Anguo Temple and it was getting late, I didn’t dare to stay here any longer, so I turned back along the original road. This section of the climb from the bottom of the ditch to the top of the mountain, through the thorn forest, and back to the viewing point of Luotuoling is the most arduous. Even the villagers who followed had never walked the road ahead, so they could only move forward gropingly. The sun was about to set. Although the scenery was amazing, everyone speeded up their pace. Thinking that it was not convenient to find the way during the day, it would be even more difficult after dark. Relying on my youth, I walked at the end of the queue and could take some beautiful photos from time to time. Camel Ridge, Huodu Mountain, Wine Jar Stone, Wangfu Peak... a vivid camel team of Shanxi merchants immediately appeared in front of us. Loaded with goods, they crossed the Xuegong Mountains from the Jinzhong Plain, descended to Wucheng, passed Lishi, and reached Liulin. They then headed west, passing Mucun and Xuecun, and crossed the Yellow River from Sanjiao, Jundu, and Qikou. , heading towards the northwest... I drained the Fenjiu from my waist, thinking about my aunt's longing eyes from afar, and continued marching in the dusty world without looking back... I hurriedly and slowly arrived at the back mountain of Anguo Temple as the sky was getting dark. When I saw Anguo Temple, my heart dropped to the ground. Anguo Temple was built during the Zhenguan period of the Tang Dynasty and is now a key national cultural relic protection unit. In the early Qing Dynasty, Yu Chenglong studied hard here for six years. Later, his descendants also donated funds for construction. Most of the existing buildings in the temple are related to the Yu family. I heard people say that the keys to the temple were kept by Jiagou people in the past, and some people joked that Anguo Temple was the family temple of the Yu family, which shows that the Yu family has a deep connection with Anguo Temple. Walking down the road from Yujiagou to Anguo Temple, I was both excited and regretful. I was excited because I discovered so many interesting and beautiful scenery, but it was a pity that few people knew about everything here. At this time, I was extremely conflicted. I wanted more people to know and come into this place, which would increase the income of the villagers somewhat, but I was also worried that the influx of too many people and disorderly development would break the tranquility here. , lost that wild taste.
But after all, we still hope to attract the attention of more knowledgeable people, so as to better protect and utilize this legacy of our ancestors and gifts of nature. This is also in line with the concepts of transformation and green development, so that it will eventually become a natural back garden for Liulin City and Luliang City.
