Travel from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou

I suggest you go by yourself. There are buses from Chengdu to Huanglong and Jiuzhaigou, and the scenic spots guides basically don't explain them!

The ticket for Huanglong is 200 yuan. The ropeway goes up to 80 yuan and down to 40 yuan, but it is not recommended to take the ropeway. It is suggested to climb directly to the colorful pool along the scenic path, and then walk down the scenic plank road. Because the altitude of Huanglong is high (3,200m), some people will have altitude sickness. Although there are places for free oxygen inhalation in scenic spots, this method is not recommended because of the high purity of inhaled oxygen. If it really doesn't work, walk down the scenic plank road. Cableway is not recommended. It is 4KM from the ropeway to the scenic spot, and it takes a big circle after spending money. It is better to climb directly on the mountain and gradually adapt to the problem of altitude sickness.

Jiuzhaigou tickets to 220 yuan, free bus to 90 yuan in the scenic area, lunch can be provided with Nuorilang buffet (60 yuan, 98 yuan, 138 yuan), box lunch (20 yuan) or instant noodles (15 yuan) or bring your own dry food. All buses in the scenic spot have commentators.

All the above tickets are full-price tickets, and full-time students can buy tickets at half price.

I suggest you book your accommodation online in advance. There seems to be a youth hostel in Goukou, Jiuzhaigou. I suggest you think about it!

Tickets to and from Chengdu and Jiuzhaigou should be booked in advance so as not to delay the trip.
