Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region is located in the northwest inland of China, bordering Shaanxi in the east, Inner Mongolia in the west and north, and Gansu in the south. Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, with a total area of 66,400 square kilometers, is located in the northwest of the four geographical divisions.

The topography of Ningxia gradually inclines from southwest to northeast, with numerous hills and gullies.
