Xiamen’s main tourist attractions: Taiwan Folk Village, Jingzhou Paradise, Xiamen Gulangyu Island, Gulangyu Island Ring Road, Xiamen University, Haicang Bridge, Nanputuo Temple, etc.

Gulangyu Island: It was officially approved as a national 5A tourist attraction on May 8, 2007. It was selected as "the first of the five most beautiful urban areas in China" by National Geographic magazine and is known as the "Garden on the Sea". Many buildings with Chinese and foreign architectural styles are well preserved on the island, and it is known as the "Architectural Exposition of All Nations". The residents on the island love music and have a high density of pianos, so it is praised as the Island of Pianos. The main tourist attractions include: Sunlight Rock, Shuzhuang Garden, Bathing Beach, Zheng Chenggong Memorial Hall, etc.

Nanputuo Temple: Located under the Wulao Peak in the south of Xiamen Island. Founded in the Tang Dynasty, it is one of the Buddhist resorts in southern Fujian. Each hall is dedicated to Maitreya, the Third Buddha, the Thousand-Armed Avalokitesvara, the Four Heavenly Kings, the Eighteen Arhats, etc. The Sutra Pavilion has a rich collection of Buddhist cultural relics, including classics, Buddha statues, bronze bells from the Song Dynasty, ancient books, etc. The "Lotus Sutra of Wonderful Dharma" written in blood during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty and the famous white porcelain Guanyin of the He Dynasty are the most valuable. There are many inscriptions preserved around the temple, including the famous stone inscriptions by Chen Di and Shen Yourong of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty and the imperial stele made by Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty.
