The Chinese Valentine's Day is coming soon. Where are the fun places in Chengdu?

The male ticket came to Chengdu from Chongqing specially the night before. This was the first time we met during the summer vacation, and it was also the first time since we got together that we encountered this small misty city in Zhao Leige.

Because both of us have been to Chengdu before, and our time was limited this time, we did not go to many attractions again. The focus is only on Chunxi Road and Dongjiao Memory Music Park.

Let’s talk about our attraction arrangement first:

Day1: Chunxi Road Business District—Kuanzhai Alley

1. Chunxi Road Business District

Chunxi Road is the main commercial street in Chengdu and the most prosperous place in Chengdu. Together with Causeway Bay in Hong Kong, Nanjing Road in Shanghai and Wangfujing in Beijing, it is also known as the four major commercial streets in China. Together with Taikoo Li and IFS International Financial Center, it forms the most prosperous business district in Chengdu.

There are many places to visit near Chunxi Road, such as some bookstores and gourmet stores where you can check in. My husband and I spent almost a day shopping around. It is recommended that everyone spend at least half a day.

▲Sino-Ocean Taikoo Li

Sino-Ocean Taikoo Li is a famous gathering place for handsome guys and beauties and a holy place for street photography in Chengdu. This time we met a Chinese Valentine’s Day event for couples. Street photo of a handsome young man.

▲Taikoo Li Line Friends Café & Store

The cartoon dolls outside the Taikoo Li Line Friends Café & Store are so cute. Girls must drag their boyfriends to play with them. Take a photo with cartoon dolls, super invincible girly heart!

▲IFS International Financial Center

The panda’s butt on the roof of the IFS International Financial Center is also an internet celebrity spot. The butt of this national treasure is really super cute. Check it out.

2. Kuanzhai Alley

Kuanzhai Alley is composed of wide alley, narrow alley and well alley. It is a relatively large-scale ancient Qing Dynasty street in Chengdu.

The hotel we stayed in was near Kuanzhai Alley, so we stopped by Kuanzhai Alley on our way back in the afternoon. There are many people at all times during holidays, so we mainly visited Wanjing Alley. Jing Alley is a typical microcosm of Chengdu folk customs. In addition to the fascinating brick cultural wall, it also brings together Chengdu specialty snacks and folk gadgets, showing the unique taste of authentic old Chengdu life.

The snacks in Kuanzhai Alley are more expensive than outside, but I highly recommend the ice powder. It is sweet but I can eat three bowls without getting tired of it!

Day2: Eastern Suburbs Memory - Qintai Road

3. Memory of the Eastern Suburbs

Memory of the Eastern Suburbs was originally the "Eastern District Music Park". It is a new tourist attraction that combines industrial heritage protection and cultural and creative industries.

Office buildings, red brick factories, locomotives and railroad tracks built with assistance from the former Soviet Union constitute today's creative park, which has strong visual impact and a strong sense of nostalgia.

This is a place I like very much just by hearing the name. I went there once with my best friend two years ago, and I revisited it a few years later with my boyfriend.

There are cafes, bookstores, bars, etc. in the park that are worth visiting. It can be said that it is very artistic and suitable for taking pictures. In addition, there are often various music performances and art exhibitions, as well as walls of hand models of celebrities such as Zhang Liangying, Li Yuchun, and Jiang Wen.

4. Qintai Road

Qintai Road is dedicated to commemorating Zhuo Wenjun and Zhuo Wenjun, the legendary figure and the incarnation of love in the Western Han Dynasty. Named after Sima Xiangru, today's Qintai Road is a jewelry street in Chengdu. The city's large jewelry buildings are gathered here, and there are also some restaurants suitable for wedding banquets, so it is called Love Road by the locals.

We also went to Qintai Road when we returned to the hotel, because of the love story between Zhuo Wenjun and Sima Xiangru. I recommend couples to go for a walk. No matter what, this is a path of love.

▲Night view of Qintai Road

In addition, friends who have enough time can go to the tavern, panda base and other places on Yulin Road to have a look. We have been there before and it feels good. , I just don’t know how it is now.

Next, let’s talk about accommodation:

This time the hotel was booked by the man on Ctrip - the Tianfu Mercure Hotel near Kuanzhai Alley, which cost more than 500 yuan a night. We stayed in a large bed room for three nights. It was the best hotel experience I have ever stayed in recently.

▲Exterior view of Mercure Hotel

The location of the hotel is very good. The subway station is right outside. It is very convenient to reach most attractions, and we plan to visit the Kuanzhai Alley and It can be reached in a few minutes' walk from Qintai Road.

▲Interior picture of the hotel room

The hotel environment is also very good. It is a mid-range hotel under the French AccorHotels Group, and the overall style is elegant and refined. The room is very clean, spacious, and filled with a light fragrance, which smells great. Each room provides safety deposit box, refrigerator, stereo and other facilities, as well as free drinks and food. In addition, the hotel also has a coffee machine and a bar counter, which are very user-friendly.

▲French breakfast

By the way, the hotel also provides a buffet breakfast, which is very complete! There are French breakfast breads and desserts, Chinese breakfast noodles and porridge, and Sichuan-style skewers!

My overall evaluation of it is the perfect collision of Chinese and French styles - a perfect fusion of Chengdu slowness and French romance.

The past two days have passed like this. In the end, to sum up, although I didn’t go to many places, it was delicious, fun and beautiful. I am super satisfied. My work in Chengdu will be over soon, and I look forward to my next encounter with Chengdu.
