There is a summer resort in Badong, Hubei Province, where Chinese restaurants were first recorded. How to have fun here?
The fourth season of Chinese Restaurant premiered some time ago, and the first stop was Badong County in Enshi, Hubei Province. Friends who have watched it must be deeply impressed by the Hundred-step Ladder in Badong, right? Huang Xiaoming went up and down ten times in the hot sun under the high temperature of 36 to 7 degrees Celsius. People watching the show couldn't help but worry about sunburn or heat stroke. Is it really that hot in Patong? Recently, I discovered a good place for summer vacation and health preservation in Badong - the Baren River Ecological Tourism Area in Chadianzi Town, Badong.
The Baren River Ecological Tourism Area, also known as the "Three Gorges Women's Valley", is located in Chadianzi Town, Badong County, Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture. The mysterious 30° north latitude passes through here, and the scenery is Beautiful, it is known as the "back garden" of Badong County and the "Shangri-La" of the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River. The Baren River used to be called Lianxia River. It originates from Lv Cong Po Hei Wo, passes through mountains and villages, and merges into the Yangtze River. The upper reaches of the river have a large drop, the river channel is narrow, and the current is rapid. However, the lower reaches of the river are relatively open, but less majestic. , it is also less mysterious. Only the valley in the middle reaches of the Baren River Scenic Area can see the sky. It combines the depth of the canyon and the tranquility of the Qinghe River. It is the most beautiful section of the entire Baren River.
The Baren River Scenic Area is located near the 209 National Highway, the only road between Badong County and Enshi City. For self-driving tours, you can directly navigate to the Baren River Scenic Area. If you are taking a car, you can take the bus to the Baren River at the Enshi Passenger Transport Center. Take the shuttle bus to the east (departure time: 8:30-17:30, fare: 75 yuan/person), get off at the gate of the scenic spot and walk to the tourist reception center.
The battery sightseeing car is a must-have item. There are also some voluntary consumption items, including: 30 yuan for the sliding slide, 60 yuan for the high-altitude zip line, 40 yuan for fat boats/paddleboards in summer, and 60 yuan for canyon rafting (reservation required)
< p> Remember to reserve free tickets for scenic spots in advance during the free period. You cannot enter without a reservation. As long as the scenic spot is not fully booked on the day, on-site reservations are also possible. During the epidemic, there are temperature measurement points at the tourist reception center in the scenic area. Remember to wear a mask and register! The vegetation in the Baren River Scenic Area is lush and blocks out the sun. Walking along the trail in the scenic area, the first stop is Qinglang Peak. It happened to rain a little when I went there, and it was full of fairy spirit. There are three cliffs, which are very steep. There is only a walking trail about 1 meter wide that can go up.
Descending from Qinglang Peak, you will pass through a forest area with very high negative oxygen ions, which is very cool in the hot summer.
There are nearly a thousand steps down to the bottom of the valley. You can choose to hike down the mountain, or you can go directly to the foot of the mountain through the slippery slide and the high-altitude zipline (the first two sections). Of course, it takes courage to do this.
The Liuliu Slide is built along the Qinglangfeng Mountain, with a total length of 450 meters, a height difference of 80 meters, and an average slope of 30 degrees. When riding the slide, you need to wear protective gear and gloves. If you sit in the slide, if you have a backpack, you need to carry it in front. Hold the escalators on both sides with your hands, put your butt close to the bottom slide, and rely on your own gravity to spiral down the mountain. You can lean forward to slow down and press your feet on the marble walls on the side to brake.
The zipline is the next stop on the slippery slide. The zipline is divided into two tracks. The first track is 350 meters long and has a drop of 78 meters. The second track is 200 meters long and has a drop of 60 meters. The two slides are suspended between the two mountains like two white lines. The slope of the mountain draws beautiful arcs. Before getting on the zipline, a safety officer will measure your weight to adjust the speed of the equipment. Because I am not heavy enough, I added a sandbag to the backpack behind me. All my belongings, including my hat, must be placed in the backpack to ensure that they will not fall in. Mountain stream. After you are ready, sit on the wooden bench of the zip line, open your arms and scream at the top of your lungs.
After going down to the river, I walked along the river for a long time. It was very comfortable. Along the way, I passed Fengyu Bridge and Longyin Palace (Longyin Palace is a natural cave, passing Fengyu Bridge Enter, turn back after playing), Sansuo Bridge (three cable bridges: Suo Yuan, Suo Xin and Suo Qing).
In midsummer, there is a rafting pier under the Suoxin Bridge, where you can experience river rafting (reservations must be made with the scenic spot in advance). The total length of the rafting is about 3 kilometers. Wear safety equipment and have two people in a boat. Sometimes you can raft in the rapids, sometimes you can swim slowly and paddle slowly. The bottom of the valley is cool and comfortable, relieving the heat and exciting. The end point of the rafting is located at the tourist center (not the tourist reception center) ).
There are also fat boats/paddle boards that you can experience in the scenic area.
After arriving at the visitor center to resolve your personal needs, you can take the scenic bus and turn back to the entrance of the scenic spot along Shiba Road, or you can get off the bus halfway. There is an ancient cinnabar post station 1.7 kilometers away from the Baren River on the way, which is currently being restored. There is an ancient wind and rain bridge here. At one end of the bridge, there is a first couplet left by Kou Zhun when he took a tea break here when he went to Yesanguan to encourage farmers: "Tea is presented with yellow buds and thatched cottages are empty mountains to welcome the poets." The second couplet has not been understood yet. out.
In Zhushatu Inn, there is a beautiful Linya B&B under construction, which should be opened next month. There are also many hotels to choose from in the Baren River Scenic Area and Chadianzi Town.
The most famous delicacy of Tea House is Tea House Beef, which has become a local gold medal delicacy. The business of more than a dozen beef shops was not affected at all during the epidemic. Some people even opened a restaurant just to eat an authentic Tea House Beef. A few hours drive here.
The main dish of Tea Shop Beef is small yellow beef that has been raised in the local wild for a long time in a natural green and pollution-free environment and is less than one year old. Dried tofu is cut into cubes, added with onions, ginger, garlic, pepper and other condiments, and cooked in a dry pan with mustard oil. It is also served with 16 to 18 small plates of unique Tujia side dishes. It is charged according to the number of people eating, usually about 50 yuan per person. , unlike other hot pots in Enshi where you can add side dishes, the beef hotpot of the tea shop can be refilled unlimitedly. In the words of the tea shop people; you eat well, you are full, you want to eat more, and it is delicious.
