In order to express the memory and gratitude for Xia's achievements in water control, later generations named this place "Xiamen", hence the name "Xiamen Village". The main building complex of Xiamen Village was built in ten thousand years of Ming Dynasty. Liang Jia, who lived here, was one of the four famous families in Lingshi County at that time.
