But I am not very interested in these, nor are they the most distinctive in the area. The most distinctive feature of Bajiaogou is Huangjing Village, which is about one kilometer away from Bajiaogou Railway Station

It is an extension of the No. 1 Shaft of Jiayang Coal Mine and is also the terminus of the small train. However, due to current road construction, the small train cannot go there and can only go there on foot

From the 1930s to the 1980s, Jiayang The coal mine extracted tens of millions of tons of coal from here, which not only provided a large amount of precious energy for the socialist construction in the early days of the founding of New China, but also successively fed more than 3,000 local families and solved the food and clothing problem of more than 30,000 people.

On September 23, 2011, Jiayang National Mining Park was officially established. Huangcunjing, the mine that Jiayang Coal Mine closed in the 1980s, was reopened and transformed into a wind collecting shaft tunnel display, broken tunnel, etc. It is the first real sightseeing experience mine in Sichuan Province that integrates coal seam display, miner wax figure underground working simulation display, underground monkey car riding experience, and manual coal mining experience.
