Enter the gate of Nanshan Temple and pass through the Fuji Gate behind a large flower bed. I saw a gate made of three pieces of mahogany, with the words "Good Luck and Good Luck" written on the door, and "Blessings are like the flowing water of the East China Sea, and the immortal pines of Nanshan Mountain of Shouti Temple." There was also a big gong hanging in the middle. Walking forward, passing a beautiful corridor, we came to the famous Nanshan Temple. Walking into the lobby, there is a Thousand-Hand Guanyin with an investment of 290 million yuan in pure gold and diamonds. I didn’t understand why others called it the “Thousand-Hand Guanyin” at first, but now I finally understand, because it has countless hands. That's why we call it "Thousand-Hand Guanyin". After watching Thousand-Hand Guanyin, my mother saw others burning incense to pray for peace and bless themselves and their families.
Mom also asked me to pray for a safe return home, because I was not tall and burned my little hands. After watching Thousand-Hand Guanyin, we went to another major attraction in Nanshan Temple to watch Nanhai Guanyin. She is carved bit by bit from brand new white marble, 108 meters high, and stands in the South China Sea. The tour guide told us that Nanhai Guanyin is a man. Because he wants to help people in need, he incarnates into different images each time. He is selfless, kind and philanthropic, so in order to commemorate him, people incarnate him into a A female. It really touched me. I really wanted to climb up. I felt like I would become a dwarf with only one centimeter when I went to the "Nanhai Guanyin". Needless to say, you know how tall Nanhai Guanyin is! Nanhai Guanyin is so beautiful!
Nanshan Temple is really colorful. It is a miracle to have two such beautiful and tall Guanyin!
Nanshan Village The scenery is so beautiful that it makes people forget to leave. I can’t say enough about it. I hope my classmates and teachers will have the opportunity to go and enjoy it carefully!

Hello everyone, look, again It is a sunny day, let us start our today's trip happily with a good mood as bright as the sun.
What we are going to today is our Sanya Nanshan Cultural Tourism Area.
Dear tourist friends, in everyone’s eyes, apart from the clean sky, blue sea, and green coconut groves, what else does Sanya have? How much do you know about the history and culture of Hainan? What? The place we are going to visit today is the national 5A-level scenic spot-Nanshan Cultural Tourism Area. I believe that there you can truly experience the unique culture of Hainan Island.
Nanshan Cultural Tourism Zone is located 40 kilometers west of Sanya City. It was called Aoshan in ancient times. With an altitude of 487 meters, it is the southernmost mountain in China. The planning and environmental protection control area of ??the scenic spot is 50 square kilometers. It is a multi-functional large-scale cultural tourism area integrating Buddhist culture, tropical ocean scenery, folk customs and historical monuments. On the tropical seaside of Sanya, it is not only the largest, but also the only scenic spot in my country that has passed international environmental management quality certification. It was awarded the title of "Ecological Environment Restoration and Protection Demonstration Project" by Hainan Province. At present, the scenic spot consists of six major parts, including the gate landscape area, Changshou Valley, Nanshan Temple, and Sea Guanyin Cultural Garden.
Dear tourists and friends, please prepare yourself, we are going to the Nanshan Cultural Tourism Area soon. Have you seen this granite boulder? It has seven characters "Nanshan Buddhist Culture Garden" engraved on it. This was personally inscribed by Mr. Zhao Puchu, the former president of the Buddhist Association of China. The tower that everyone sees now in the style of the Southern and Northern Dynasties is the gate of the Nanshan Buddhist Cultural Garden - the Non-Eternal Dharma Gate. If you look closely, you will see that the front and back of the "Fu Er Dharma" are inscribed with the four characters "Fu Er" and "Yi Shi" respectively. They were inscribed by Mr. Gu Tinglong, a famous Chinese calligrapher. According to Buddhist understanding, non-duality is the highest method among the 84,000 Buddhist methods. "Non-duality" means "one reality". All things are equal in the final analysis, and there is no difference between this and the other. In addition, some people They also believe that "non-duality" means not to measure others by your own standards, respect other people's opinions, and analyze specific issues in detail.
Walking into the Fujian Dharma Gate, we came to Cihang Pudu Garden. Now that we are here, we have to tell you about the rare art treasure enshrined in the Guanyin Pavilion in the garden, the largest gold and jade statue in the world. Avalokitesvara. This golden and jade Guanyin is 3.8 meters high and is made of 150 kilograms of gold and silver, 120 carats of South African diamonds, thousands of pearls, rubies, emeralds, corals, turquoise, jade, white jade, etc. Since the traditional Chinese "palace goldwork" technique, one of the world's best handicrafts, is used in the production process, the golden statue is agile and elegant, and the magic is vivid. The golden and jade Guanyin face is like a full moon, serene, peaceful, compassionate and benevolent. The golden and jade Guanyin body is slightly Twisting the hips not only shows the traditional solemn beauty of the Guanyin statue, but also shows the elegant and free posture. In this way, religious appeal and artistic expression are integrated, adding to the charm of Guanyin Bodhisattva.
Now we are coming to Changshou Valley. Here, we see an archway in Ming and Qing architectural styles with four big characters "Aoshan Shougu" on it, which was mentioned by Mr. Wu Dongming, a famous calligrapher in Hainan. On the north side of the archway, there is also "Shoubi Nanshan" inscribed by the famous Chinese calligrapher Mr. Qi Gong. What we see on both sides of the memorial arch is a couplet written by Huang Fang of the Ming Dynasty in praise of the cultural landscape of Nanshan. The word "longevity" means that the whole longevity valley is filled with a strong atmosphere of longevity culture. Here, Xiao Zhang wishes everyone to get more of the atmosphere of longevity here, and hopes that everyone will be safe and live longer than Nanshan. After leaving Changshou Valley, we came to Nanshan Temple, the only temple in China facing the South China Sea and backed by Nanshan Mountain. It is also the southernmost temple in my country. Entering the inner courtyard of Tushita, what everyone sees now is the main Buddha statue in the middle, which is Maitreya of the Heavenly Crown. Surrounded by the four heavenly kings, Miltreya of the Heavenly Crown is considered the successor of Sakyamuni, and was later called " "Buddha of the future" and "Buddha of the future". In the main hall of Nanshan Temple, the Golden Hall, there are three main statues, the third Buddha representing space. They are the "Medicine Buddha" in the Eastern Pure Glass World, "Sakyamuni Buddha in the Saha World" and "Amitabha Buddha in the Western Paradise World".
After leaving Nanshan Temple, you can also see the 108-meter-high statue of Guanyin on the Sea in Nanshan. It is said that Nanhai is the place where Guanyin Bodhisattva wishes to live forever. In order to fulfill the long-cherished wish of Guanyin Bodhisattva, this statue is used here. The titanium alloy statue weighs about 2,600 tons and is 78 meters high. Together with the base, it is 108 meters tall, which is 14.4 meters taller than the Statue of Liberty in the United States. It is currently the tallest open-air Guanyin statue at sea in the world. It represents the spirit of "compassion", "wisdom" and "peace" in the Eastern world.
Well, dear group members, how mysterious and charming is Guanyin on the Sea? Let’s go into the Guanyin Cultural Garden together. I believe that everyone will see it with beautiful eyes. Come to see the beauty of Nanshan, and I hope that the most beautiful things in Nanshan tourist area can be left in your photo album and in your memory.

From the central area of ??Taihuai, go south along the highway to Yangbaiyu Village, turn west and cross the Qingshui River, walk a few hundred meters, and arrive at the foot of the mountain where Nanshan Temple is located. Nanshan Temple is built on the mountain, with an altitude of more than 1,700 meters, an area of ??more than 90 acres, and more than 300 palaces, buildings and kilns. The entire temple of Nanshan Temple is composed of seven floors and three parts. The lower three floors are called Jile Temple, the upper three floors are called Youguo Temple, and the middle floor is called Shandetang. Nanshan Temple is their general name. The temple was founded in the Yuan Dynasty, as evidenced by the existing stone tablet erected in the temple in August 1268, the fifth year of the Yuan Dynasty. It was called the "Great Wansheng Youguo Temple" at that time. It was built again in the ninth year of Guangxu's reign in the Qing Dynasty and was called Jile Temple. At the end of the Qing Dynasty, there was a Jiugong Tao leader named Puji who converted to Buddhism. He was the abbot of the temple and had close relations with the Qing Dynasty. Empress Dowager Cixi personally wrote a wooden plaque with the words "True as Self" inscribed on it and gave it to Puji. Puji also gave it to him. The words were carved on the stone and enshrined. In the early years of the Republic of China, monk Puji built the original Jile Temple, Youguo Temple, and Shande Hall together with donations from Northeastern believers, and called it Nanshan Temple. After Puji's death, the construction of the temple continued. The construction project was huge and spectacular in scale. It was started continuously for 23 years. Later, it was stopped due to the "July 7th Incident". After large-scale construction, Nanshan Temple has a unique architectural style, mostly made of bluestone and white marble. The stone carvings have colors from Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism.
When describing Afang Palace in Du Mu's "Ode to Afang Palace", he said: "Five steps to the first floor, ten steps to the pavilion. The waist of the corridor is unobstructed, and the eaves and teeth are high, each embracing the terrain and fighting each other." Nanshan of Mount Wutai The temple has the same momentum and grace. Stepping into the temple, you will be greeted by winding paths, pavilions and pavilions. Deep in the corridors and at the front of the courtyards, there are many stone inscriptions and couplets, especially the stone carvings on various buildings, with various themes and complex contents. When traveling among them, there are The scenery changes with each step, and the feeling is colorful. In temples, it is rare to see such a large-scale and micro-detailed group building.
The architecture of Nanshan Temple relies on the mountain topography, with distinct levels and well-proportioned structures. There is a large screen wall at the bottom of the temple, 17.3 meters long and about 8 meters high. It has a stone base and a brick wall. There are brick carvings on the top eaves and white marble embedded in the wall, with inscriptions and couplets engraved on it. The stone-carved couplet on the left is: The weathered god is in a dream, and when he gets lost, nature cooperates. Entering the temple from the screen wall, first climb the 108 stone steps. On the high platform at the end of the steps, there are two tall stone archways, 12.8 meters long, 1.6 meters wide and about 9 meters high. There are three door openings under the archway, and the upper floor is divided into three floors, with each floor shrinking inward than the first. The middle floor is the highest, and there are four symmetrical and hierarchical floor heads on both sides. There is an inscription on the stone surface at the forehead of the middle gate, "The green pines are not destroyed, the wisdom turns to the clouds, and the mountains and rivers are soaring thousands of miles away". There are couplets engraved on the outside and inside of the two side doors. There are also many stone inscriptions and couplets on the back of the archway.
The building behind the stone archway is the bell tower. The bell tower is divided into two floors, the lower floor is a solid stone building, and the upper floor is a double-eaves wooden building. On the arch and door frame of the lower door opening, there is a picture of "Eight Caves of Immortals" engraved on it, and a couplet is engraved on the side. On both sides of the doorway at the back of the bell tower, there are two small doorways with twenty-eight steps leading directly to the upper floor. The upper floor is surrounded by a stone fence, and the fence is engraved with various flowers, plants and trees. The simple outline shows the charm, which shows his proficiency in swordsmanship.
The high-rise building is painted with gold and colorful colors, which is very gorgeous. The large bell tower of Nanshan Temple combines stone construction with wooden construction, stone carvings of figures and flowers with stone inscriptions, and stone carvings with colored paintings, which is very unique. Visitors pass through the main entrance and climb the 28 dark stone steps in the small entrance to go upstairs, where they can lean on the railing for sightseeing.
To the left of the big bell tower is a courtyard, and to the east is a small hall with a plaque "Edict to build Jile Temple". The Bodhisattva's eighteen outstretched arms are in various postures, and he is stepping on a lotus. There are two small elephants beside him, looking as if they are about to fly. The clay sculptures of Eighteen Arhats on both sides of the main hall are of high craftsmanship and are second to none among similar statues in all the main halls in Mount Wutai. Arhats have distinct personalities, some hate evil, some are calm, and some are pretty. Some are old and decrepit, and each one is lifelike. There are murals on the inner wall of the gable where the Eighteen Arhats are leaning. The mural on the left is the biography of Sakyamuni Buddha, and the mural on the right is Tang Monk collecting scriptures. A vertical plaque is hung on the forehead inside the palace door, with the four words "True as Self" inscribed by the Empress Dowager Cixi.
On the left side of the main hall, there is a narrow aisle that leads to the Zen Hall courtyard behind the main hall. In the courtyard is a stone inscription of "Zhen Ru Zi Zi" inscribed by the Empress Dowager Cixi. The handwriting is the same as that on the wooden plaque of the main hall.

Dear friends, I believe you must have heard of a blessing that is often said when celebrating birthdays: happiness is as long as the flowing water of the East China Sea, and longevity is as old as the evergreen pines in the Southern Mountains. Nanshan here refers to Zhongnan Mountain. In addition to Zhongnan Mountain, there are more than 300 places in my country called "Nanshan", but I think most of them are not Nanshan in the true sense. The real Nanshan in China should be where we are going. Sanya Nanshan Cultural Tourism Zone.
Nanshan, known as "Aoshan" in ancient times, is 270 meters above sea level and located about 40 kilometers west of Sanya City. It is one of the first batch of 5a-level tourist scenic spots in my country and a must-see for many tourists visiting Sanya.
Since ancient times, Nanshan has been a magical place and has always been called a place of auspiciousness and blessing by Buddhists. According to Buddhist classics, Guanyin Bodhisattva, who rescued people in distress, made twelve major vows in order to save all sentient beings, the second of which was "the wish to live in the South China Sea forever". Therefore, Buddhists have regarded Nanshan on the South China Sea as a holy place since ancient times. In the Tang Dynasty, the famous Chinese monk Jianzhen traveled east to Japan, but returned without success the first four times. During his fifth trip eastward, he was disturbed by a typhoon. After wandering at sea for 14 days, he finally landed at the foot of Nanshan Mountain and stayed for one year. Returning to the Central Plains many years later, the sixth eastward journey was successful under even more difficult conditions. When Jianzhen mentioned the reason for the victory of the eastward journey in Japan, he said: It was because he had meritorious service in preaching Buddhism in the ashram of Guanyin Bodhisattva in the South China Sea and received the protection of Guanyin Bodhisattva that the eastward journey was successful. Therefore, in the eyes of future generations, Nanshan is a rare and blessed land. Precisely because Nanshan has such a profound Buddhist relationship with Guanyin Bodhisattva and Monk Jianzhen, the Hainan Provincial Government plans to invest 6 billion yuan to build the largest Buddhist cultural garden in southern my country in Nanshan, which is on the edge of the South China Sea.
Nanshan Buddhist Cultural Garden is the main park of Nanshan Cultural Tourism Area. It has landscapes such as Fujian Dharma Gate, Golden Jade Guanyin, Cihang Pudu Garden, Ruyi Jixiang Garden, Nanshan Temple, and Sea Guanyin. Now I want to focus on introducing to you the "best in the world" among the two parks, Golden Jade Guanyin and Sea Guanyin.
This majestic gatehouse, imitating the style of the Southern and Northern Dynasties, is the gate of the Nanshan Buddhist Cultural Garden - Buerfamen, which was called the Que Tower in ancient times. The tower was a place where the ancient royal family climbed high to look far and widen their horizons. The four characters "Bu Er" on the front and "Yi Shi" on the back were specially written for this purpose by the famous Chinese calligrapher Mr. Gu Tinglong when he was 94 years old. According to Buddhist understanding, "non-duality" means "one reality". All things are equal in the final analysis. There is no difference between one and the other, which is called "non-duality". "Nonduality" is the highest method among the 84,000 methods of Buddhism. The Lord Buddha said: "What governs the world is called 'Dharma'; this Dharma is the passage for all saints to enter the Tao, so it is called 'door'." According to Mahayana Buddhism, the Buddha discovered that there were 84,000 kinds of troubles in sentient beings in the world. For all these troubles, the Buddha found 84,000 ways to solve them and to achieve enlightenment, which are called "Dharma Doors." Among the 84,000 dharma doors, the "non-dual dharma door" is called the supreme dharma door.
The national treasure "Golden Jade Guanyin" is the "Kaiyuan Buddha" of Nanshan and is enshrined in the Golden Jade Guanyin Hall. The total height of this golden and jade Guanyin is 3.8 meters. It is made of 150 kilograms of gold and silver, 120 carats of South African diamonds, thousands of pearls, rubies, sapphires, emeralds, corals, turquoise, jade, white jade, etc. It is exquisitely crafted by the "World The Guinness Book of Records has certified it as the most expensive gold and jade Guanyin statue in the world, with an estimated value of 192 million yuan. What is even more valuable is that when the Golden Jade Guanyin was consecrated, the living Buddha placed two relics inside the head of the sculpture, one of which was the Buddha's true body relic. In 2001, during the sprinkling ceremony of the Golden and Jade Guanyin, it was discovered that there were 108 more "Vajra Relics" in Guanyin's head. Some people say that this is the golden and jade Avalokitesvara, but we don't know whether it is true or not. These 108 "Vajra Relics" have become an unsolved mystery. Because of this kind of Buddhist auspiciousness, many people will specially request a golden and jade Guanyin statue in the Golden and Jade Guanyin Hall. After being consecrated by a qualified monk, they will place it in the Buddhist cave in the hall to worship it to bless their family, career, love, etc.
The Guanyin on the Sea is known as "the largest metal statue of Guanyin on the sea in the world" and is also the tallest standing statue of Guanyin in the world. The total height of the statue and the King Kong Throne is 108 meters, which is 14.4 meters higher than the Statue of Liberty in the United States. It is also included in the "Guinness Book of World Records". The Avalokitesvara statue on the sea is an integrated three-piece standing statue of Avalokitesvara. The three Avalokitesvara statues have different gestures, holding a suitcase, a lotus, and a pearl, which represent wisdom, purity, and liberation respectively. Guanyin Bodhisattva's kind smile, tranquility and tranquility embody Guanyin Bodhisattva's great kindness and compassion. The Guanyin Statue on the Sea was officially completed in 2005, and a grand opening ceremony was held on March 16 of that year, the birthday of Guanyin Bodhisattva. At that time, 108 eminent monks from the Buddhist circles at home and abroad came to participate in this grand Buddhist event. More than 20,000 people from all over the world came to pay homage to the majestic Guanyin Bodhisattva standing on the sea. The scene was spectacular.
Friends, the Nanshan Cultural Tourism Area has arrived. Let us walk into Nanshan together to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Nanshan and appreciate the profound and subtle Buddhist culture.
