Qiaolai hometown in Qing Dynasty, covering an area of 66 mu, surrounded by water, elegant and exquisite, is a national 3A-level scenic spot.

In the park, there are six ancient stages where Emperor Qianlong went down to the south of the Yangtze River to watch operas, as well as Song Ge Ting, Shen Zhu and Jing Dian, Huachuan Academy and other scenic spots. Song Ge Pavilion is a fusion of tulou and Beijing Siheyuan. There is a rare mahogany bridge in Shen Zhu and Jingdian. The buildings in the park are based on bamboo, lotus and opera stories, with exquisite carvings of stone, brick, wood and copper and profound cultural heritage. Important scenic spots include Zhao Puchu, Wei Tianchi and other poets and calligraphers who wrote the elegant poem Mo Bao.

Baoying is located in the east of Sheyang Lake, covering an area of 10,000 mu, with criss-crossing rivers and lakes. It is called "Shajiabang" in central Jiangsu, and it is a national AA-level scenic spot.

As a breeding base of improved varieties of lotus root in the province, lotus root garden is rich in aquatic products such as fish, shrimp, crab and turtle besides as many as 12 varieties of lotus root, which is full of ecology. There are scenic spots in the park, such as curved bridge promenade, waterwheel windmill, fish fishing and so on, and there are tourist facilities such as dragon boat and speedboat. The "Ermeizi" model militia activity center, covering an area of 4.5 mu, has a showroom, a training ground and "Ermeizi Square", which vividly shows the historical materials and objects of various periods since the establishment of the militia class. It is a national defense education base for young people and a famous scenic spot for red rural tourism.

ningguo temple

Ning Guo Si, built in Zhenguan period of Tang Dynasty, has hundreds of halls and pavilions, and is the largest temple in He Lixia, which was later destroyed by fire and war. 1993 resumed construction and is now a national AA-level scenic spot and a key temple in Jiangsu Province, receiving tens of thousands of pilgrims and tourists every year.

There are many precious cultural relics in the temple, such as a piece of Indian rosewood weighing more than 1000 kilograms, a carved Buddha statue in the Southern and Northern Dynasties, a three-sacred figure carved by Tian Huang, and an ivory pagoda as high as 1.8 meters, which is priceless. The colorful Buddhist relic, the treasure of the town temple, is a rare relic of Buddhism.

Babao Pavilion

In the 30th year of Jiajing in Ming Dynasty, Yue Dongsheng, the magistrate of Baoying County, dug up the Baohe River, erected a monument and built a pavilion by the river, and then collapsed. 1983 rebuilt in Zongjiao Garden according to the prototype. The glazed tile roof, with sharp corners, is 5m high, with a circumference of12m and an area of1000m2, inscribed by the famous calligrapher Zhao Puchu. In the original pavilion, the remains of the thirty-year monument of Jiajing in the Ming Dynasty and the inscription of Daoguang Pavilion in the Republic of China were also moved to the side of the pavilion, and the new inscription recorded the beginning and end of the reconstruction of Babao Pavilion.

The Babel Pavilion has experienced vicissitudes and is a witness to historical changes. Whenever literati come here, there are many poems and songs. When the founding Prime Minister was a child, he visited relatives in Baobao and read newspapers in Babel Pavilion.

Zhou Enlai juvenile reading office

This used to be the residence of Chen Yuan, the father of foster mother Chen. 1907 or so, the teenager lived here with Chen Lai for many times, and went to school with his cousin Chen Shizhou, forming a deep friendship. Now it is a cultural relic protection unit in Jiangsu Province and a national AA-level scenic spot.

The reading room faces south, and Peng Chong, former vice chairman of the National People's Congress Standing Committee (NPCSC), inscribed the lintel of "Zhou Enlai Juvenile Reading Room". The whole building is in Qing Dynasty style, divided into two courtyards, east and west, with a total of 18 houses. The West Suite has a wooden attic where Chen Shizhou once collected a large number of Zhou Enlai manuscripts, letters and photos.

Baoying Station of South-to-North Water Transfer Project

The first batch of construction projects, the first pumping station and the water source project of the East Route of South-to-North Water Transfer Project are all in Fanshui Town. The main project consists of pumping station, downstream cleaning bridge, Yanghuai highway bridge, irrigation culvert and indoor 1 10/ 10 kV substation and other facilities. It can not only bring water to the north, but also pump out the accumulated water in He Lixia. Construction started in September 2003 and passed the acceptance inspection in Jiangsu Province in June 2005. The total investment of the project is 654.38+0.4 billion yuan, with 654.38+0.38 million cubic meters of excavated earth and 27,200 cubic meters of concrete.

Gong Xue

Founded in the Southern Song Dynasty, the main buildings are Yingxiumen, Zhuangyuan Bridge, Chi Pan, Dacheng Hall, Mingluntang and Dingjiafang, which are county-level cultural relics protection units.

The overall architectural pattern retains the common features of ancient China and Gong Xue, and the single building is unique and full of local characteristics, which provides an important basis for studying the architectural history and the development of Confucian culture in Jianghuai area. In 1992, the government rebuilt Dacheng Hall, resting on one eaves, with five rooms wide and nine purlins deep. The two ancient ginkgo trees in front of the main hall have survived for 400 years and are still lush.

Bailu island

National agricultural tourism demonstration sites and provincial wetland parks have a land area of 3,500 mu and a water area of 4,500 mu (including islands in the lake), including 2,200 mu of Metasequoia forest. It is applying for "National 3A-level Tourist Attractions" and "National Wetland Park".

Bailu Island Eco-tourism Scenic Area is adjacent to baoying lake in the west and the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal in the east, about 12km away from the county seat. Jiangsu Baoying Middle School was founded on1928,2001and joined Yu Xiang Education Group. It is a four-star high school in Jiangsu province and the first batch of demonstration private schools in the province.

After deepening the system reform, Baoying Middle School, which was newly built in different places, was rated as a "garden-style school" in the whole province, and its school performance has been rising year after year. In the college entrance examination in 2008, the number of undergraduate students reached 1235, ranking first in the province.
