Expressway, Ji Tai is a "vertical six" parallel line in the planning network of expressway. After the completion, it only takes about half an hour from Jinan to Taian. The highway will add a connecting passage for Taishan tourism, relieve the pressure of Beijing, Taiwan and expressway, and promote the economic development along the route.

This expressway connects Jinan City, the capital of Shandong Province, and Tai 'an City. The northern end starts from the Laopo Interchange at the southern end of the viaduct of the Second Ring East Road in Xinglong Street, Jinan City, and the southern end goes to the Culai North Toll Station in the northeast of Culai Town, Tai 'an City. Culai Hub is connected with Qinglan expressway (under construction).

Ji Tai expressway Project starts from the intersection of Jinan Ring Expressway and the South Extension of the Second Ring Road, connects with Jinan Ring Expressway, and then spreads southward, along the east side of Laopo Village, Doufuquan, the comprehensive training base of the Provincial Public Security Department, the east side of Jinxiang Mountain Scenic Area, Liubu Street and the west side of Shankou Town Planning Area.

From north to south, it successively passes through the east extension of Huanshan Road, National Highway G34 1, Laitai Expressway and Xintai Railway. After passing through Qiujiadian Town Planning Industrial Park, the route extends from the east side of Qiujiadian Town Planning Area to the southeast, crosses Wenhe River and connects with Taixin Expressway in the northeast of Culai Town.
