From Ginza Station, take the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line (toward Ikebukuro) for 2 minutes to Tokyo Station. From Tokyo Station, transfer to the Tokaido Shinkansen for 35 minutes to Odawara, and then transfer to the Hakone Tozan Railway for about 20 minutes. Arrive at Hakone-Yumoto Station. Exiting the station is Lake Ashi, and the journey takes about 1.5 hours.
To return from Lake Ashi, take the Hakone Tozan Cable Car and get off at "Koenokami" station. It is a 1-minute walk to the Hakone Museum of Art, and the whole journey takes about 10 minutes.
Return to Hakone-Yumoto Station, take the Hakone Tozan Railway (toward Odawara) for about 14 minutes to Odawara Station, transfer to JR Shinkansen No. 708 (toward Tokyo), arrive at Shin-Yokohama Station for about 16 minutes, and transfer to JR Take the Yokohama Line (bound for Hachioji) to Hachioji Station in about 46 minutes, transfer to JR Limited Express No. 101 (bound for Kofu) and arrive at Otsuki Station in about 29 minutes, then transfer to Fujikyu Express No. 5 (bound for Lake Kawaguchi) to arrive at Lake Kawaguchi in about 47 minutes. Station and transfer to the mountain bus to reach Mount Fuji 5th Station in about 50 minutes. The whole journey takes about 4.5 hours.
Take the mountain bus from the fifth station of Mt. Fuji for about 50 minutes and return to Kawaguchiko Station. Take the Fujikyu Express No. 8 (bound for Otsuki) to Otsuki Station for about 47 minutes and transfer to JR Limited Express No. 112. (Shinjuku direction) Arrive at Shinjuku Station in about 60 minutes, then walk for 2 minutes to Shinjuku (Tokyo Metro) Station, transfer to the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line (Ikebukuro direction) and arrive at Ginza Station in about 16 minutes. The whole journey takes about 3.5 hours.
Almost 10 hours have been spent on the road. What else can we do in the scenic spots? It’s getting dark before our eyes... Hakone is a little closer to Tokyo, but Mount Fuji is too far! It’s impossible to go back and forth in one day! !
