1, oil town
The oil town is located in Qaidam Basin, Qinghai Province, in the vast desert at the foot of Altun Mountain. This oil town used to be a no-man's land. 1954 started construction after the discovery of oil, and 1959 established Lenghu City. Later, due to the exhaustion of oil, 1964 was downgraded to town.
2. Mogao grottoes
Mogao grottoes, located in Dunhuang at the western end of Hexi Corridor. Mingsha Mountain starts from Mogao Grottoes in the east and reaches Danghekou in the west. It stretches for 40 kilometers from east to west and about 20 kilometers from north to south. The elevation of the main peak is1715m. The mountain consists of fine sand in five colors: red, yellow, green, black and white. Crescent Spring is located in the middle of Mingsha Mountain, and it is named because its shape resembles a crescent moon.
