What are the procedures for mainland residents to go to Macao?

The mainland needs to apply for a Hong Kong and Macao Pass to go to Macao. Whether mainlanders travel to Macao or work and live in Macao, they need to apply for a Hong Kong and Macao Pass. The Hong Kong and Macao Pass is a certificate issued by the Exit-Entry Administration Center of the Ministry of Public Security of China to mainland residents in China who have relatives from Hong Kong and Macao to settle in Hong Kong and Macao, or Chinese mainland residents to travel and work in Hong Kong and Macao.

The following information is required for handling the Hong Kong and Macao Pass:

1. Original and photocopy of my ID card;

2. The original and photocopy of my household registration book;

3. A two-inch bareheaded plane color recent photo of a dark coat with a white background can also be taken directly at the Exit-Entry Administration Center of the Public Security Bureau.
