Sandaoyan is located in Pidu District, Chengdu, which belongs to the heart of Chengdu Plain, only 22km away from Chengdu and 6km away from downtown Pidu District. Sandaoyan is an ancient town in Xishu with a history of 1000 years. It is called Tianfu Water Town, including Xuyan River and Baitiao River. Sandaoyan ancient town is a famous land and water wharf and commercial port in history, 6 kilometers away from the urban area of Pidu District, Chengdu, and two tributaries of Dujiangyan: Baitiao River and Xuyan River run through the whole territory. The town was named after the ancients intercepted water with bamboo baskets in the lower reaches of Baitiao River, made three weirs close to each other, and diverted water to irrigate the fields. It has a long history of 1000 years and is also a famous hometown of martial arts. During the Republic of China, it was called Little Shaolin in West Sichuan.

The sixth waterworks in Chengdu, with a water supply of 6.5438+0.45 million tons, has been built in the town, which is the largest domestic waterworks in the western region.
