How many days does Quito allow Chinese citizens to be visa-free?

Quito’s visa-free policy for China has the following two situations:

1. Mutual visa exemption. Chinese citizens can enter Ecuador without a visa for the purpose of tourism, visiting relatives or engaging in non-profit activities, and their stay in Ecuador shall not exceed 90 days.

2. Hold a residence card. Chinese citizens can apply for a residence card for one year or more at the Ecuadorian Embassy in China. When applying, they need to provide a valid passport, air tickets, hotel reservation information, asset certificate and other materials. The residence card allows you to stay in Ecuador for more than one year, but you need to maintain legal status.
