Ecotourism planning

8.6. 1 Principles of ecotourism planning in nature reserves

(1) Adhere to the principle of protection first. Maintain the original features of the natural landscape of Yunfeng Mountain Forest and Wetland, give priority to viewing the natural landscape and the original secondary Pinus tabulaeformis forest, highlight the leading role of the natural environment, and organically combine the development of ecotourism with the protection of the natural ecological environment.

(2) Adhere to the principle of seeking truth from facts and rational development. The layout of buildings and infrastructure should be kept to a minimum. At the same time, it should be coordinated with the natural landscape and try to maintain the original natural flavor in the process of development and construction.

(3) Adhere to the principle of gradual and rolling development, control eco-tourism on the premise of not destroying resources, and at the same time use all the tourism income for the construction of protected areas to promote the development of protected areas.

(4) The scope of eco-tourism should be controlled in the experimental area of the reserve.

8.6.2 Zoning of Eco-tourism Development

According to the division of scenic spots and spatial layout, the general idea of eco-tourism planning of Yunfeng Mountain Nature Reserve is to divide it into three tourist areas according to the characteristics of natural resources and the distribution of tourism products. The spatial layout of tourism is one mountain and one water area. One mountain refers to the historical, cultural and religious tourist area of Yunfeng Mountain; Yishui refers to the scenic eco-tourism resort of Bulao Lake (Banchengzi Reservoir), which radiates the forest tour of Gushiyu, the folk tour of natural history in Chen Jiayu and the tracing tour of Xituo Ancient Great Wall. Area refers to the eco-industrial sightseeing belt. Focus on eight scenic spots: Sheng Chao Ancient Temple, Yunfeng Jing Ling, Cliff Stone Carving, Youth Spring Scenery, Xanadu, Lake View on the Peak, Shui Sheng Villa and Songtao in Linhai.

(1) Bulao Lake Landscape Eco-tourism Resort: Banchengzi Reservoir is an important water source of the reserve, and it also reflects the ecological benefits of the reserve. The main water source comes from the water conservation forest in the reserve. This eco-tourism area will be built into a holiday center integrating vacation, entertainment, sightseeing and leisure. Highlight the recreational atmosphere of "relaxing and experiencing nature", including resorts, water entertainment areas and sightseeing areas around the lake. It is planned to build a mid-range holiday center in the highlands on the north bank of Laohu. There is a large area of Pinus tabulaeformis forest from Laolao Lake to Gushiyu. This area still belongs to the experimental area, which can be used to carry out natural forest bathing, natural environmental protection education, outdoor survival training for teenagers and orienteering exploration.

(2) Yunfeng Mountain Historical, Cultural and Religious Tourism Zone: historical, cultural and religious tourism and natural sightseeing tourism are carried out in the zone, highlighting the atmosphere of "Millennium Temple, Yunfeng Jing Ling". The main attractions are Sheng Chao Temple, Chaoyang Cave, Da 'anji, Ancient Buddha Dojo, Taohua Temple, Jixiang Temple, Guyaju Caves Grottoes, Cliff Stone Carvings, Welcome Pine and so on. Planning and construction of mountain gates, amusement pavilions, parking lots, etc. Yunfeng Mountain area will be built into an important historical, cultural and religious tourist area in Beijing.

(3) Xueyichang Shui Sheng Lake Ancient Tree Holiday Tourist Area: Zhuanshanzi Reservoir is in this area. Closely combine natural popular science tourism with historical and cultural tourism areas to form a high-grade holiday and conference activity center. Shengshuihu Spring is located in this area. It is said that drinking the spring water here can make you live forever. Therefore, this area is also an important place to attract tourists. There are more than 300 years old trees in this area, which shows the long history of this ancient village.

8.6.3 Ecotourism Management

Eco-tourism focuses on management. Scientific management not only protects the environment, but also plays a propaganda role; Otherwise, it will have a great impact on the primitiveness and naturalness of the ecosystem. Therefore, eco-tourism management should do the following:

(1) Bring all scenic spots into the unified planning and management of protected areas to realize scientific protection and rational development;

(2) New tourism projects and facilities should strictly control pollution and be in harmony with the natural landscape;

(3) Eco-tourism projects in the protected areas should first consider the construction of water conservation forests and the cultivation of landscape forests, and put ecological protection in the first place, so as to realize "green trees go up the mountain and clear water is put into storage";

(4) Tourism planning should be linked with land use.
