Longtan Martyrs Cemetery is a classic scenic spot of red tourism and a patriotic education base.

Located in the western suburb of Huize County, Qujing City, Yunnan Province, 2 kilometers away from Yinhongshan, Longtan.

The cemetery covers an area of 3,334 square meters, with majestic mountains. "The mountain is like a galloping horse, and the momentum is like a cloud." It faces south according to the terrain and has more than ten tombs. From north to south, it is divided into three rows: the first row has six tombs, and the middle two tombs are the tombs of two martyrs, Jiang Kaibang and Liu. On the east and west sides are the tombs of the old Red Army Yu Xiaoxiang, Zhang Yongqing, Guo Rubin and Huang Shaoyong. The second row of seven tombs, from east to west, are the tomb of the old Red Army, the tomb of Huang Xingshun, the revolutionary martyr Yang Tianhua, the tomb of the old Red Army Li Zhengqing and the tomb of the revolutionary martyr Ma. The third row is the tomb of revolutionary martyr Hu, the tomb of Mrs. Jiang Kaibang Yang and the tomb of Mrs. Liu Zhao.

In the winter of the same year, according to the instructions of the provincial party Committee, the first division of Yunnan Volunteers for Poverty Alleviation was secretly established, with the Eighth Route Army under its jurisdiction, and Jiang Kaibang was appointed as the division commander and commander of the Second Route Army. In order to develop progressive forces, he traveled all over Yunnan and Guizhou, carried out revolutionary activities and organized revolutionary armed forces. In Huize alone, he organized more than 2,000 people to prepare for armed forces. 1in March 932, more than 20 people, including Ping Kaifu, were sent to Jiangxi to join the Red Army of Workers and Peasants. At the same time, he entered the troops of An Enpu, the first brigade of the Kuomintang Yunnan Army, as a local document and engaged in the work of "transporting troops". Due to the frequent activities of Huize underground party and traitor informers, Jiang Kaibang and Liu were arrested in June 1933+065438+ 10, and died heroically in May 1934. 1950 was approved as a martyr by Huize county people's government.

Huang Xingshun, Guo Rubin, Zhang Yongqing, Li Zhengqing, Li Yongfu, Yu Xiaoxiang, Wang Dingguo and Huang Shaoyong, the old Red Army, all died peacefully here in early May of 1935, when the Ninth Army of the First Army of the Chinese Red Army of Workers and Peasants passed through Huize. Construction started on September 28th 1998 and was completed on September 29th 1999. "Huize County Revolutionary Martyrs Wall Monument" is located in the south of the martyrs' tomb. It is tall and majestic, with seven characters written in the center of the wall monument, "People's heroes are immortal", and the names of 322 martyrs in Huize are engraved on the east and west sides of the wall monument. In 2004, the archway door was built in the north of the martyrs' tomb, and the words "Longtan Martyrs Cemetery in Huize County" were dazzling. Longtan Martyrs Cemetery has been built in succession for more than 40 years, taking shape. It is the position of patriotism and revolutionary tradition education in Huize County and an important base for developing red tourism culture.
