Wushan is a famous historical mountain in my country. It is located in the northwest of Xinjie Township, Baoji County, about 2 kilometers away from Baoji. 43 kilometers from the city. Qianlong's "General Annals of Shaanxi" listed Huashan and Wushan as famous mountains in Shaanxi at the beginning of the volume.
Wushan Mountain is a mountainous area with tall and straight stone peaks. Among them, Zhenxi Peak, Daxian Peak, Lingying Peak (the highest peak, 1841.9 meters above sea level), Huixian Peak and Wangnian Peak are the most tall and beautiful, namely Shi Yu's "Five peaks are tall and graceful". Li Daoyuan said in "Shui Jing Zhu" that this mountain "shows beautiful clouds in the sky, falling love falls back, and the tops of the mountains defend each other, and there is always a tendency to fall when you look at it."
Since the Zhou Dynasty, Wushan has been the western town of the country. In the 16th year of Emperor Kaihuang’s reign in the Sui Dynasty (596 AD), the Wushan Temple was established. Later emperors continued to add titles to the God of Wushan, and the scale of the Wushan Temple under Wushan became larger and larger. Before liberation, there were more than 150 stone carvings in the temple alone.
When you climb Mount Wu, you will be greeted by endless views among the strange peaks. Starting from the Wushan Temple in Xizhen at the foot of the mountain, along the Yishui River into the mountain, there are Wangshiling, Bijia Mountain, Tiandi Ligou, Tiantianmen, Xizhen Lingqiu, Huixinshi, Shanxia Cave, Yamawang Bian, There are more than 40 scenic spots including Judge Pond, Shoupa Cliff, Jade Emperor Qiu, Zhenren Cave, Da Jinping, Xiao Jinping, etc. In particular, the "Yangshui Cliff" at the foot of Lingying Peak has thin streams hanging on the cliff more than 30 meters high. It floats and turns into beads with the weather. The literati praised the scenery as "Flying Rain on Clear Rocks".
In today's Wushan, most of the ancient buildings and inscriptions have been robbed and destroyed. From the large bells from the Ming and Qing dynasties that have survived in the Wushan Temple in West Town, we can see the former glory of this official temple. On the stone walls in the mountains, there are still several rock carvings carved by the ancients, such as "Yun Gen Yu Vein" and "Five Peaks Standing Green". In recent years, some Taoist caves have begun to revive, and the state has approved the establishment of Wushan Forest Park, which is open to the outside world and welcomes friends from all walks of life for sightseeing.
