Where is Baode Jin Feng Temple?

Baode Jin Feng Temple is a cultural tourist attraction.

Jin Feng Temple is located in Yaqianta Village, 34 kilometers south of the county seat.

Here, the deep valleys are quiet, the peaks are towering, and the Buddhist temple is surrounded by mountains and waters, with a large scale.

This temple was built in the Jin Dynasty. During the reign of Emperor Kangxi in Qing Dynasty, the county magistrate Yuan Yuan raised funds for reconstruction. In the ninth year of Qianlong and the seventh year of Xianfeng, they were expanded and maintained one after another, becoming a building complex with East, West and Middle Schools.

The East Courtyard was originally established as the main temple. Shanmen, Xiandian, Qianfo Hall and a large number of halls are distributed on the north-south central axis from front to back. There were six halls in the east and west, but now only the west hall is left, and the east hall is completely destroyed.

There are 3 mountain gates, 3 wide, 3 deep, 5 hard tops and 5 bucket arches, with single copy 1 flower. The inscription on the inner beam reads "On February 28th, the 10th year of Qing Qianlong, Shangliang Daji rebuilt the South Hall".

The South Hall is 3 rooms wide and 4 rafters deep. On the hard top of the mountain, there is an archway of "one bucket and two liters". The inscription on the east wall reads: "On July 24, the seventh year of Xianfeng in Qing Dynasty, Zhang set off and on August 15, Zhang finished work." .

Daxiong Hall is 3 rooms wide and 8.54 meters. The depth is 4 rafters, 7.32 meters. The abutment is made of red sandstone with a height of1.27m.. The stigma bucket arch is paved with 4 pieces, which are copied alone and played with the head flat. Each bucket arch is added with 1 piece. A 45-degree inclined arch was used in the Ming Dynasty. The whole bucket arch is made of huge materials and simple in style, retaining the shape of the Jin Dynasty.

The beam frame structure is four beam pairs, and there is no interweaving square.

There are three caves in the west courtyard. Build a castle on it, with six rooms from east to west. Starting from 1966, the pavilion was changed into a classroom and the room was changed into a kitchen. The original stage and back hall of the Intermediate People's Court were completely destroyed by the tooth tower.

Jin Feng Temple is also called Shuituo Temple. During the Ming Dynasty, the temple was flooded. Under the auspices of Shang Quanjin and others, a culvert with a length of 120 meters was built in the Intermediate People's Court. To commemorate this project, it was changed to Shuituo Temple and later renamed Shuituo Temple.

During the reign of Kangxi, there were 40 temples/kloc-0, with nearly 100 monks, making it the largest temple in Baode.
