01 Where to apply?
Applicants can make an appointment and submit a visa application at any visa center through TLS (.tlscontact.com/cn2nl).
Applicants for MVV long-term visas need to come to the embassy or consulate in person to submit the visa application. Applicants need to make an appointment through the websites of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in China and consulates.
02 Make an appointment to apply for a visa
The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in China and the consulates have subcontracted the visa affairs to the TLScontact Visa Service Center. All visa appointments for short term visas (Schengen Visa/Caribbean Visa) will be arranged through TLScontact.
TLS Visa Center website: .tlscontact.com/cn2nl or call the TLS Visa Center consultation hotline 400 625 6622.
For all MVV long-term visa appointments, applicants need to make an appointment through the websites of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in China and the consulates.
03 Visa application process at TLS Visa Center
Step 1 Register online.tlscontact.com/cnBJS2nl
Step 2 Obtain material list and Schengen visa application form< /p>
After registration is completed, you need to answer a few simple questions, and the system will automatically generate a list of materials that suits your personal situation based on your answers. At the same time, you will also receive an online automatically generated Schengen visa application form.
Step 3 Make an appointment online
You can choose a suitable time to submit your visa application online. Please note that if you fail to submit your application as scheduled, your personal registration information will be automatically deleted on the day of the appointment. If you want to make a new appointment, you need to register again.
Step 4 Prepare visa application materials
After selecting the appropriate time to submit your visa application, you need to prepare the materials required for the visa based on the list of materials provided previously. Please be sure to print and bring the Schengen visa application form and appointment notice generated online in PDF format.
Step 5 Go to the China-Chile Visa Netherlands Acceptance Center to submit materials
Except for the following situations where personal attendance is exempted, you need to go to the visa center in person to submit your visa application. Please bring your appointment form and application materials with you and attend your appointment on time.
Important reminder: If you fail to attend your appointment on time, the visa center will not be able to receive your application and you will need to make a new appointment. If you do not show up for your appointment, you will be asked to re-register with a new account and make a new appointment.
Conditions for exemption from personal attendance application:
● Children under 12 years old;
● Physical conditions do not allow collection (the palms/fingers/arms have been amputated). Applicants are required to collect biometric data even if they only have one finger. If there are other circumstances that make it temporarily impossible to collect fingerprints (using band-aids or bandages, etc.), the applicant still needs to come in person so that his or her usable fingerprints can be collected. Since only part of the fingerprints have been collected, the applicant needs to come in person to collect fingerprint information again when applying for a visa next time;
● The applicant has already collected biometric data and successfully obtained the visa. When applying, you only need to provide the visa number and a copy of the visa page as proof.
Step 6 Submit materials
If the application materials are incomplete, you can supplement the copies of the provided documents in the center, or submit the application directly (this may increase the risk of visa rejection) risk).
If you do not want to submit an application with incomplete materials, you can log in to the website with the same Dutch Visa Application Center account and make a new appointment within three days.
*If two applicants have the same travel intention and destination, please choose the same time period.
Step 7 Pay the visa fee and visa service fee
You can pay the visa fee and visa service fee at the visa center by cash or credit card (China UnionPay only).
Visa fee: collected on behalf of the embassy or consulate. A visa fee must be paid for all types of visa applications unless you qualify for a visa fee exemption.

Short-term Schengen country visa (1-90 days): 60 euros/460 yuan
Dutch Caribbean Region (less than 30 days): 35 euros/265 yuan

Value-added fees: other fees that need to be paid during your visa process.
If you want to get an invoice for the service fee, please ask for it after paying; the receipt for the visa fee will be returned to you along with your passport.
Step 8 Biometric information collection
All applicants must provide the applicant’s biometric information (fingerprints and digital photos) when applying for a Schengen visa. Fingerprints are collected using an electronic scanner. To ensure complete and accurate fingerprint collection, please ensure that your fingertips are not decorated or damaged in any way. Your digital photo must completely show your face and facial features. Wearing contact lenses (colored contact lenses, magnifying contact lenses, etc.) that alter the appearance of your eyes during biometric data capture is strictly prohibited. This process is simple and rigorous and does not take much time.
Step 9 Check the application progress
You can log in to the website at any time and check the visa application progress through your personal page. Please note that the Dutch Embassy in China may require you to submit supplementary documents or come to the embassy or consulate in person.
Step 10 Collect your passport
When your passport is returned to the China-Chile Visa Netherlands Acceptance Center, you will be notified by email to come and collect it. When collecting your passport, please bring your application form proofsheet, original and copy of your ID card.
