The appearance of the gate building has the traditional Arab Islamic architectural form. The gate faces south, and the entrance is concave, with a height of 12.3m, a bottom width of 6.60m and a door width of 3.80m It is built with diabase slats and is triple. Except the third dome is made of brick, the first and second arches are all made of round dome bluestone, which is similar to the ancient Chinese architecture "caisson". The dome of the first pointed arch is connected with the outer layer in the middle, and a beautifully carved diabase lotus is hung upside down. With the weeping lotus as the center, it is set radially, extending from the upper end along all sides of the outer layer, like a spider's reticulate arch treasure cover. It means that Islam advocates holiness, and the gate house is horizontally embedded with Arabic relief stone carvings.

Covering an area of 2 184 square meters, Jing Qing Temple is a stone building as a whole, which imitates the architectural form of the Islamic chapel in Damascus, Syria, and has the characteristics of large dispersion and small concentration of Islamic mosques in functional space. The main buildings preserved are the gatehouse, the worship hall and the Mingshan Hall. 196 1 year, Jing Qing Temple was listed as the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units by the State Council, and was listed as the only Islamic mosque among the "Top Ten Famous Mosques in China" in 1990s. Together with Xianhe Temple in Yangzhou, Huaisheng Temple in Guangzhou and phoenix temple in Hangzhou, it is called the four ancient Islamic temples in China. Its establishment is one of the important historical sites of Quanzhou's overseas exchanges.
