A must-see attraction in Tengchong

Tengchong's tourist attractions include the Hot Sea of Volcanic Mountains, Tengchong beihai wetland, Heshun Ancient Town, Dieshui River Waterfall, National Funeral Tomb, etc.

1, Huoshan Rehai

Tengchong is a famous geothermal scenic spot in China. At present, there are 64 geothermal active areas in the whole region. There are more than 80 hot springs with the highest water temperature of 96.3℃.

2. Tengchong beihai wetland

Beihai wetland is located about 12km east of Tengchong County, and consists of two adjacent natural lakes, Qinghai and Beihai. The water is covered with a straw raft up to one meter thick. Walking on it will shake the earth and make you feel scared.

3. Heshun Ancient Town

Heshun ancient town is a famous hometown of overseas Chinese in Yunnan Province, and it is also an important town of the ancient tea-horse road and the only place where the Southwest Silk Road passes. The buildings in the ancient town are built on the mountain and gradually climb from east to west.

4. Dieshui River Waterfall

Dieshuihe Waterfall is located in the west of Tengchong City, which is a cliff through which the turbulent Daying River flows. Falling from a rock more than 30 meters high, the sound was like thunder, and the water splashed everywhere, forming a landscape that scattered without a bow.

5. National Mourning Tomb

Located at the foot of Xiaotuanpo on the Dieshui River, southwest of Tengchong County, Yunnan Province 1 km, the park has a memorial cemetery for the soldiers killed in the Tengchong Recovery War of the 20th Chinese Expeditionary Force during the Anti-Japanese War in western Yunnan.
